Thanks man . I checked your vid out to find torque settings . While removing the return rail #4 bloody twisted as the cap under rail flange was loose so fractured the return pipe ! Then I've found the injectors have been fitted without seals at all after cleaning thoroughly checking , so I now need to repair the nozzle seats as they have been marked from compression leaking . Drat ! A quick job has taken a bit longer . Cheers for the film mate .
Thankyou for an awsome tutorial currantly half way through the job but the seals that go into the holes on the block the bottom sliver sleeve same out on 2 incjectors and 2 stayed in as 2 were seized onto the injectors tip were a pain to get off without damaging them my question is should of they been able to come out and is there a sizing location they go in as they look larger at the rear 2 and front 2 look smaller diameter
Thanks sooooo much. Got problem get the return line out. Cause the short pipe stuck to lift out. Seems i have to bend it carefully to get out. Got same car. Thanks again for video. Realy helps lot! From South Africa❤🇿🇦
I got my injectors from hytech but I think there the wrong unit as the numbers on original injectors are different numbers to ones they sent can you tell me what code number you used
I had a white blueish smoke on my ranger wl engine and the mechanic advised me to do the whole engine rebuild and I end up buying the new cylinder, turbo and piston rings I even got the pump and injetors refurbished but the white smoke didn't stop.any advice?
So my Ute has a really bad idle and from that the whole inside of the Ute shakes especially the steering wheel so I just replaced injectors thinking that would be the problem but no, still shaking like a dog and I’m puzzled what it could be, any ideas ?
At 5:50 he says concave up but he is pointing to convex up. But the workshop manual and a diesel mechanic told me convex down. Can anybody confirm which is correct? Thanks
Very common problem. Take the banjo bolt out of the injector pump where diesel line from the filter meets and if you dig around with a pick in the hole you will find a tiny mesh filter gauze. Take it out and clean it as it will be blocked.
Thanks man.
No bullshit and informative. My vehicle is back on the road.

My Courier has been blowing smoke on start up for a bit now. Think its the injectors so ill use this video as reference, cheers
I tightened up the injector cap. What could be the cause of leaking fuel? Thanks
What year is that, my 03 courier has different caps that go in the head. Looks like a little top hat made out of stainless steel.
what are the red or yellow clips on the injectors that match up with the ones on the pump for. new injectors dont have colored clips.

How did you go with it mate?
It would most likely be the front seal on the injector pump.
Take the pump out and get the seal replaced. Will only cost about $120👍🏻
Glow plugs
I appreciate this video, thanks

Yeap. Got any idea whats going on with the piping for the clutch on these things?
