I lived for these days, being able to see The Jets many times throughout the year. I'd have walked the Simpson Desert to see them live, the best fun just trying to get wherever they were playing & the ABSOLUTE best live gigs I saw throughout the 90's. 🤘
This is the Wagga uni gig, where the students produced nearly the whole thing. Only ever seen it once in full. Anyone who can recover a broadcast quality of this full concert will be well rewarded.

Too true. I have known a few people closely, that have been mates with various members of TSJ and I have met the band a few times backstage, there was a time there in 1998, we were sitting around backstage and Dave was surrounded by girls whilst in his seat, he signed my CD, it was very rare and he made a very flat comment to me, and I qoute : " I hope you got your moneys worth from this, because we get no royalty's from this one, but I'll sign it anyway .. " gave me back the CD and carried on flirting with girls. Rosevear was cool that night, Paul was brief but polite and Grant was very friendly and chatty, we talked alot about surfing. Although running a Five member band is never going to be an easy task, any day of the week, the one thing that always got a mention, was Dave's backstage ego and for reason's that only Dave would know,, the Drummers always got a hard time, to date, 2024, TSJ are onto their 6th drummer..??.. I think Rosevear is the only one who legit gets along with DG. TSJ never succeeded to get World Domination, back in 2005, Dave's bestie Grant Walmsley was convinced the would achieve this, that very year, drummer Col Hatcman leaves the band and by 2009, Grant has a massive fall out with Dave and leaves the band. I'm sure Dave Gleeson is an awesome Father and Husband today, he's 56 yrs old now, gone are the Rock God days, he's probably very approachable backstage but... who cares anymore?? Look up some current tour vids here on YT, the Screaming Jets are only one step away from becoming a corporate cover band, Dave is the only original member left and does nothing but make a complete Goose of himself on stage, it's embarrassing and tragic to watch. There's alot of reasons TSJ never made it Big, but you can't go past good ol ' Lead Singer syndrome '. It's sad.
