Glad to see a video from your channel,it looked so relaxing.I’ll be glad to be back in Florida soon. And I will be bringing my boat with me again.I’m from Ga. And your pup has the best expressions😁
I’m currently looking at C-Dory’s and came across your channel. Thank you for your videos they have actually been helpful and entertaining. Question, the screen you have on the back door of the boat that snaps in does it work well? I’m just thinking of possible ways to keep the boat cooler and not let the bugs in. My co-captain puts up with a lot and goes along with me on most my adventures, but she hates bugs! And her idea of fun and relaxing is totally different than mine, I could see her hanging around inside the boat all day with her book or watching shows on her phone. And there would have to be minimal bugs inside! I want a C-Dory because of the simplicity and capabilities of the vessel and I think I could make it comfortable enough for her on the inside to hang out.
Hi Allen thanks so much! Apologies for late response. Yep the screen that snaps on back door in conjunction with the screen that velcros to the front hatch keeps good the bugs out with decent airflow. But if in humid hot climate like FL the Air Conditioner is a game changer for sure. Did you find your CDory yet? Best Regards.
Hi Alan thank you so much Yes the screen really helps keep the bugs out while letting air flow you would need a screen also in the front window that pushes out. I'm not sure where you live but I'm in Florida and AC is an absolute must to be comfortable. So you'll see in my videos I stick a window unit up in that front window that pushes out is very easy to set up and I keep a Honda 2000 generator so we can sleep comfy all night or hang out in there during the day with comfort.
Marshall Islands wow that's cool I had to look that up That is way out there. Yeah I took the window AC out for the winter it's not needed until summer comes again. Thanks so much for the comments and happy new year to you Randall!
Hi John. Thank you for asking yeah I've been busy with other things and bought a camper van in Maryland and drove it down to Florida I do have footage for one other video I need to edit and get up. I'll probably be camping in the van for the next couple months while the weather is good here in Florida maybe I'll post a video of that. Hope you're doing well.
Hi Phil sure I'll film it and put it in my next one for you. Basically it's a window unit that I just lift up and set in the window and I stuff some of that black pipe insulation around to fill the gaps. If I'm going to be running the boat for a while I definitely take it down. It's easy to put up and down no problem.
@@jimsflorida1817 Thanks Jim, the more I watch, the more I am attracted to the C-dory. Especially in the shallows. I'm down near Fort Lauderdale, fl. Cheers
@@philschulte9324 you bet Phil, actually fort Myers is where I bought my C Dory from. I'm up in Sarasota now. Yes it's perfect for shallows honestly only needs 12 in or even less to float. It's like a little condo on the water, you will definitely want an AC unit if you spend the night in the summer anyway
Looks like a nice little lake boat, but I wouldn't venture too far from shore with it, or in anything but calm weather.
Thanks for sharing
I enjoyed this! My take away is that your dog has it made lol
Accurate observation Brad. Thanks for the comment.

Hey Tony!
@ 00:32 hooked me.... and probably drove the price of C-Dorys up.
Ha ha that's what that darn "Trip Smith" channel did to me.
@@jimsflorida1817 I hear you.
Can you show your AC set up?
