Hmm, a quote about treasures... this is close enough? Right?: “Memory is the treasure house of the mind, wherein the monuments are kept and preserved.” Thankyou for this series, been watching since Ep 2, it’s truly amazing the amount of time u spend to make these documentaries!
This channel constantly proves its worth by being filled with treasures. Not even saying that to just win the competition, I really mean it. Your dedication to research and how you all have a deep respect for these props is both awe inspiring and astounding. I'm constantly captivated by each reveal and twist in the story of these props. All I can say is I wish you all the best and congratulations on how well this series has hit off. Hope to see more wonderful content in the future.
You guys really are national treasures for the time and effort you have put in to bring this excellent research to WHO fans everywhere! Roll on Season 2!
Your videos are such a joy to watch. Thank you for the time you spent into these small little doucumentries into early who etc. You and your channel are "treasures" to this platform.
Thank you so much for this. My little boy Freddie is 3 and a half and loves the classic series and treasures my old Denys Fisher Tardis with its broken doors .
These videos are the true treasures. I hope that you can create even more great content. Thank you for all your hard work. Heck even name dropping the brilliant, lovely Clayton Hickman for his Police Box reference.
The Terry Nation Army team are the real treasures. You folks did a bang up job on all of these videos and every Doctor Who fan should subscribe to your channel post haste!
These videos were like finding hidden treasures as I’ve learned so much about the Dalek movies and the man behind the Daleks. Love the work you do and can’t wait to see more
Treasures: Fragments of history which could easily have been thrown away and lost, but which were kept to be treasured and enjoyed long after the end of their practical life, such as old dalek props, movie studio police boxes, and these videos.
Another great video! Thanks for taking the time to educate us all on these "Treasures". Really enjoyed the diversion into the history of those Tardis props!
"Are you the one that everyone's been looking for? Treasure[s]?" - The Doctor, Dragonfire:) Police boxes - favourite topic😍 I worked out that the Deep End box was a prop as my parents grew up not far from the location and neither recalled a box and the pavement was too narrow anyway. And I noticed that the windows were clear so it had to be the Cushing box. Oh and I spent a very long day trying to track down a photo of the box's appearance on the Mike and Bernie Winters show - very excited when I finally found the box and matched paint marks. What did happen to it.... - Oh it would be a dream come true if it survived!!!
The story and fate of the Pinewood Box is a sad one. Such treasures as those used in Doctor Who production should be considered sacred (even though The Pinewood Box wasn’t used in Doctor Who it still deserved better). My heart goes out to all the Doctor Who props who have sustained heavy abuse or even outright destruction over the years. Those which remain really are survivors in the truest meaning of the word, and deserve great care to preserve them for future generations to treasure.
Thank you again for yet another fascinating video. I really appreciate all the hard work you put into them. Good luck to everyone who has entered the competition for those 1960s treasures.
would love to hear you talk about the classic TARDIS's history through to the current boxes would really be a treasure to my eyes , given i make TARDIS CG models for a livin :)
Absolutely fantastic. I’m a huge Police Box/TARDIS fan so this video was fascinating. Thanks guys for all the hard work you’ve done and continue to do!
treasures this channel is incredible! the work that goes into these videos is astonishing and the results speak for themselves! keep up the amazing work!
Treasures : noun - a quantity of precious metals, gems, or other valuable objects. verb - (3rd person present: treasures) keep carefully a valuable or valued item
Notification gang!! Been absolutely loving your content, I never knew there was this whole world of history surrounding the Dalek props! I’m a huge fan of the early classic series so sitting through this stuff has been like finding hidden treasures ;)
Who's part of the notifications crew? Where my homies at? Edit: I'm very interested in the treasures that are your videos! I've been subbed since before your Dalek series, but that has definitely been the highlight of my summer so far haha (I'll take a no social life for 500, Alex)
Docror Who has so many amazing hidden TREASURES!. Growing up with Doctor Who as a child in the 80's, watching every serial from 1963 to current. Dalek 63-88 these documentaries are amazing. How the Doctor Who movie invented 'Second Unit', the location of the Mary Bell murders, and how the Shepperton Studios' massive studio was used and how it is still used today. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing more amazing Doctor Who production history.
Great video. I'm amazed by the amount of research that went into it. So thank you for this, and your other wonderful videos. They are all little Treasures.
So pleased you're back - especially with this edition. In the mid to late 1980's I certainly saw at Pinewood Studios a lonely police box sitting in the scenery store. When I asked to hire it for an event in the late '80's, I was told that I had just missed it as it had been 'broken up and burnt with other items just a few months ago'. What a waste of such ''TREASURES''. Perhaps this (other) Pinewood Box I saw was the one from Shepperton Studios, moved to Pinewood(?)
To hold in my hand, a small capsule that contains such treasures, to know that the tiny pressure in my thumb is enough to break the glass that will end everything. Yes... I would do it! That treasure would set me above the gods, and through dalek 63.84: I will have that treasure! Been an awesome series! Fantastic work from you all, thank you
I have already subscribed earlier, but I love these video gems from your tivia treasure chest that you have gifted to all of us fans! I Immediately clicked on this once I saw TARDIS in the description. Thank you so much for giving the blue box some attention! As a US resident I am hoping that some sellers on Amazon get us the B&M exclusive TARDIS sets.
Am loving your series on the Daleks and it's lovely to see such wonderful treasures being given out to people who comment, really great pieces of history that I'm sure any DW fan would love to own.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful series, my favourite moment has been the discovery that the model Dalek used in the cliffhanger for the 1965 episode of the Chase still exist, now that's what I call a real piece of treasure!
Fantastic video Sir, it never really occured to me what happened to all the TARDISes.
Jeeze you are everywhere.
Lovely to see you here!
I swear you're following me. Hello you!
LARRY!
Bernard Cribbins being involved with the movie Tardis for a second time- as a Policeman again! Quite a treasure to laugh about!
It was "a" movie TARDIS, rather than "the" TARDIS. They were different boxes.:)
@@Darren79 and that was probably the most accurate one
These old props, when you find even a fragment of these historical treasures it's special
I Wish I could have found one of the pieces
These Terry Nation Army videos have swiftly become one of life's Treasures, all of the hard work is greatly appreciated.
Hmm, a quote about treasures... this is close enough? Right?: “Memory is the treasure house of the mind, wherein the monuments are kept and preserved.”
Thankyou for this series, been watching since Ep 2, it’s truly amazing the amount of time u spend to make these documentaries!
Amazing story about these movie treasures. Such painstaking work. Thank you.
Your videos are treasures in themselves. Incredible work as always!

In the words of the 7th Doctor in Dragonfire. Are you the one that everyone's been looking for..Treasure *cheeky eyes and a smile*
Thank you so much for this. My little boy Freddie is 3 and a half and loves the classic series and treasures my old Denys Fisher Tardis with its broken doors .
Those pirates have found the best *treasures* ever! A sonic screwdriver!!
I love the fact you can find all these treasures that sometimes no one has heard about. Thank you!
I must say everyone involved in making these wonderful videos are National Treasures..
The clips you guys hunt down to illustrate the history - those are real treasures in their own right! Appreciate the work going into that.
I'm so happy I stumbled across this treasure trove of Dalek goodness!
Well done on more sterling work, these videos are a real Treasure and a joy. I hope we can find out more about the 4th box in time.

I’ve been seeing reviews of these sets everywhere, it’s great to see these [Treasures] aren’t being forgotten or thrown away.

Thanks for the video. This video is a treasure of some of the boxes and where it was used in shows and movies.
I've loved watching Terry nation army. a very wintering looks at hidden treasures in doctor who's past
These videos were like finding hidden treasures as I’ve learned so much about the Dalek movies and the man behind the Daleks. Love the work you do and can’t wait to see more
Oh my giddy aunt the treasures! Love this series, the stuntman breaking his leg and completing the shot in 2150AD is my favourite bit
Such treasures to behold! We're so thankful for all your work in putting this wonderfully informative series together!
I absolutely love these extremely informative videos on the history of doctor who props!

This whole series is full of little treasures! Your attention to detail is fantastic. Thanks for all the hard work to uncover new Who facts!
Loving the Treasures, lol. Your program is awesome, and so detailed. Keep it up, and archive Who history.
Every single one of your videos are little treasures to be watched and enjoyed. Thank you for making them.

If I had to guess, the Shepperton box is either dismantled or somewhere in the studio's prop warehouse
The story and fate of the Pinewood Box is a sad one. Such a loss of the pinewood box and shipperton box. Both absolute treasures and tragic losses
The incredible facts you're sharing are treasures enough! Thank you
would love to hear you talk about the classic TARDIS's history through to the current boxes would really be a treasure to my eyes , given i make TARDIS CG models for a livin :)
You do?
This channel truly is full of treasures ;) I'm so glad I found it and that it exists!
These police boxes were all treasures, as is the knowledge of their fates.
I'm loving these videos. Truly a TREASURE trove of new information on my favourite franchise of all time!
Maybe Toybox Treasures cut the Cushing TARDIS into tiny pieces!
Absolutely fantastic. I’m a huge Police Box/TARDIS fan so this video was fascinating. Thanks guys for all the hard work you’ve done and continue to do!
That puts paid to The Who Shop's claim that they have the movie box!
Wow! Your videos are a treasure to see. Really love them!
Please be back fast with the next Dalek season!
Doctor Who will go down in British history and all the craftsman men and women who worked on it should be considered TV treasures!

Dalek Cleo AYYYY
Alright
This show is so good, every episode has little treasures spread throughout that make you love to rewatch them.
Omg I can’t believe that your giving these away! These are such iconic fragments of such iconic things in Doctor Who. These Treasures are amazing.
"Amazing"? Are you 6 years old? They're a joke! reliquaries my arse. They're nothing but scrap floor sweepings.
Well it’s not like you can buy these on ebay
I always find it fascinating where these props end up and how some of them have survived the test of time. Interesting little video, nice work guys!
Thank you!
Everyone: treasures
Me: heh no
I love Doctor Who but the thought of people worshipping some tiny little crumb of Ice Warrior helmet is just too funny.
@@hopebgood well free stuff is free stuff
I enjoy this channel and how it digs up forgotten treasures in the dalek’s beginnings and explains and finds out things other channels do not.
The word “treasures” has never been used in a canonical Doctor Who TV story or episode title.
Longshot, I know, but The Mind Robber features Gulliver and the Treasure Seekers: Oswald, Dora, Horace and Alice...
"TREASURE S...eekers"

Paul McGann was looking for treasures, but all he found was a TV movie, audio books, minisodes and cameos.
It's good to know that these treasures still exist today. Love the series looking forward to seeing more from you both in future!
We should have a Treasures Hunt to find the missing Police boxes, I bet someone used it as a shed 😮
It's funny you should say that, cos I'm sure the ground force team repainted 1 and slapped it in a garden make over at the end of the 90s.
True treasures indeed, thank you for all that you do. I really enjoy these curated glimpses behind the scenes.
I enjoy your videos. Thank you. Hope I have a chance to win "Treasures"
Love all the treasures on your channel. Am a massive Dalek fan and share all your videos.
The night is long, and full of treasures!
Thank you for the great content!
Great video, always find these videos fascinating and treasure them greatly.
Great video. I'm amazed by the amount of research that went into it. So thank you for this, and your other wonderful videos. They are all little Treasures.

Very interesting. Shepperton did have a sale of props in the 70s so it could be that it made its was to Pinewood?
