Eh, don't diss the scientific process. I, too, am a biologist who has had to study wildlife and do fish counts and such although I later ended up in environmental chemistry. It's not as easy as one thinks. You have to be very accurate and very precise (the two are not the same concept but they are similar) and you have to understand your subject matter very well in order to make valid measurements and classifications. The scientific process used to do that really can be transposed to studying people, specifically in this case criminals, to spot patterns and classifications.

It had dislocated downward toward the sole of my foot and when I stepped on a large rock, snapped back into place and just about felled me like a tree in the forest. I love your user name. :)
I once saw a woman that was at about nine months in her pregnancy come into a bar alone and be served . She drank a few shots when we said to the waitress she should not be served. Anyway only a few minutes later she was taken in the backroom by some woman . An ambulance came and the woman gave birth in the backroom of the bar. I hope she had the kid taken away . I have looked after a kid that had fetal alcohol syndrome. The results of that are so similar to severe autism that it would take a history of from the mother to know the difference. Very sad

I once saw a woman that was at about nine months in her pregnancy come into a bar alone and be served . She drank a few shots when we said to the waitress she should not be served. Anyway only a few minutes later she was taken in the backroom by some woman . An ambulance came and the woman gave birth in the backroom of the bar. I hope she had the kid taken away . I have looked after a kid that had fetal alcohol syndrome. The results of that are so similar to severe autism that it would take a history of from the mother to know the difference. Very sad

That girl just needs good family support, therapy, AA and a job. She can't parent if she was never parented herself, her parents probably got annoyed by her then kicked her or whatever.
