Drew hit ambien addiction right on the head with that first call! I've been hooked on it over a decade and I'll go weeks with no sleep without it. He was so ahead of his time.
The first hour of this show should be in the radio hall of fame. It’s an all timer in the genre of “call in show” which is probably a dead genre for many years now. It’s a work of art, a masterpiece
She's ridiculous. Sleeping around with a sheet in between her and kids. I mean, maybe wait until you can afford a babysitter before you go out slumming.
That's California livin for ya, and that was back in 2001. Now Californians are like "Wait, my 8 year old son hasn't been molested yet, are you saying you find him ugly or something! How DARE you!?"
Loveline can be so fascinating and informative but this one is just baffling. You think the broken logic inertia is going to blow out with their brainless slippery slope comments then Anna calls in to give you a glimpse of the void...
This show contains a fantastic example of the way Adam thinks. He's not a genius, he just thinks on a surface level. He's lazy. Not just physically. His thought process is lazy. Yes, prosecuting Kevorkian was a waste of time and I do think people should be allowed to choose to die with dignity. And yes, the NRA idiots make zero sense. All true. But here's the problem. We've found out indisputably that the government does monitor private communications and does use that against people they want out of the way. Google it. There are cases of this that have gone through the courts. Not made up, not exaggerated, cold hard facts. Wikileaks, Snowden, Manning... These people have exposed the abuses of power by the government. And yes, those have been going on under both Democratic and Republican administrations. I realize that this was the time that most Americans were buying into all of Bush's "We need to fight them over there so we don't fight them over here" rhetoric and they were scared and whipped up into a "Rah Rah Murika!" frenzy but it's still a good example of Adam taking a thought that initially seems to make sense and not really thinking it all the way through. Keep this one in mind, everybody. All you "Adam is a genius" people just remember this show. And look at all the times over the years that Adam just stops thinking at a certain point. That's not a genius. That's just lazy. It's lazy thinking.
Hezekiah Ramirez I agree with everything you wrote, except for the nra comment. There are numerous cases of people in power talking about passing more and more restrictions. The 2nd amendment was created to keep government in control, otherwise you will have tyranny. One example is of Diane Finest in saying "if I could of had 51% of votes, Mr and Miss America, turn them all in". Seeing how you wrote, you're not dumb by any means, but I just ask that you please look into gun control. Thank you and enjoy.
Jeffrey Hinkle Move to Cuba, they love your way of thinking over there, you'll fit right in. You can stay powerless and unarmed while only the government has guns. Paradise!
Every post I read from this Ramirez guy is a rag on Adam. Jeez guy. Stop listening if it's so painful. It's COMEDY. Have a laugh! You'll likely get a lot more out of it than your continual complaining.
Yeah. Adam is usually right about everything. I'm surprised. Just goes to show how trusting people were. At least Drew turned out to be a good guy and Adam, well he was spot on MOST of the time. Not even his genius ming could imagine the dystopian future
This episode is gold!
Yea it is! It was tard night. ..holy f

People don’t say Adam is a genius for his perspectives on geopolitical issues. He is a comedic genius. He does comedy. Calm down.
