_ Mexbeatz I disagree. Gene is a really tough opponent and a really good battler. NaPom also barely won that battle, as the voting was 3-2 in favor of NaPom.
I love this battle man. Alexinho is a straight boss (obviously) and Efaybee always brings a clean set and is nice to hear. His 2nd round has me fuckin bouncing. Literally the best type thing to do in a showcase. Great battle between friends. In regards of the other battles, ALL THE BATTLES ARE ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD! None are sub-par. Over 200 more videos too come ;)
Yup, definately worth going back and watching the 1st and 2nd world champs, and recognising how far beatbox has travelled in a short time.
The techinicality, musicality and cleaness of routines has improved imensely, making the top 16 tighter than ever, with some big names missing.

Repetive vs. Alexhino. Repetitive is a fantastic beatboxer, but uses the same sounding\style beats every year....year after year. Same sounds every beat. It's stale now.
Alexhino wasn't as good hear as I'm used to hearing, but could be the mic/sound. But he is one of the best battlers and usually kills it every round, has a lot of variety, and is just very skillful and calm.

This has been my main hobby for 14 years. I say this a lot purely because I have seen and heard s lot in beatboxing. Seeing new guys go from novice to some of the best in the world.
These guys are all some of the best in the world. This years top 16. So tell me, what allows them to not be critiqued? No one is perfect. The pursuit of becoming better is never found in the comfort of one's current self. Why is it some become so much better in one year, when others remain the same after 4? A true artist continues to grow. Would it not be helpful to see possibilities to grow?
I post my opinion because I can. Most hate it, some enjoy it and look for it, some find it quite helpful to themselves, others think I am bitter and hateful. If what I am saying is so negative, why do some others view it as a positive? The problem isn't me, it is the one reading it. Who has the ego? The one with an opinion, or The one who disavows an opinion because they view it as wrong?
