As far as I know, this song/this Version is by Apocaplyptica but Adam Gontier, the singer of Three Days Grace sang it. Later he made another Version because he didn't like it the way it turned out so he made one, like he wanted it to be and that's why there are two Versions (one by Apocaplyptica and one by TDG).
I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong.
