if you have light beam with +30% damage :
the tooltip say "1 Brittle damage", but in reality, it is "1.3 Brittle damage"

Yeah, that's legit the only rune that is standard on any build I do. I feel like it's a must have
Just a note, Exorcism is an awesome skill. With that a paladin can wade right into just about anything because the healing that comes from Exorcism can go up to 80-90 points easily when you get some good AoE going.

finally :) the power of reroll mastery showcased very nicely :) i feel like this build can only be improved if you swap out one beam for the broken arcane shield in order to not die...i wonder if you could do something like 4 beams + shield + something that heals (maybe holy nova) to be able to sustain those insane cycle 7 fights. but i honestly have no idea if that would work or work better than just 6 completely busted beams...

Hey Sifd, beams do stack on top of each other if you cast again before they end, that's true for any skill but the buffs like Bloodlust, Might, etc.

To be clear, what you mean is that...
Beam weapon begins to fire, half way through it's fire time, the cooldown is up, and it begins firing again. So now there are 2 beams firing.
is that correct?
It always felt like freq. massively helped the damage of my beam builds and I wasn't sure if it worked this way, or if it increased the damage tick rate. So in a given beam duration, lets say it would tick 10 times, but with 100% freq, it would tick 20 times. Or.. if it worked the way I stated above where it always ticks at 10 per duration, but with cooldown it would start a new attack on top of the old one.

Sifd, there is a good reason for picking up "100% crit against full life enemies", and that is to remove it from the blue modifiers pool. Game first roll rarity of modifiers, then then pick randomly from available pool in that rarity. Same reason goes for synergy mods, you'll take them not only for debuff application chain but to increase your chances to get a good blue modifiers in the future:)

Not sure if the build i played was this strong but I tried the assassin, with dual twin daggers and 4 flurry with fragility doom poison. Everything was melting also !
37:54 its not a bug, the game is just limtied in how many meteors spawn at once and you kill enemies so fast that its trailing behind in the meteor spawns.

See what I'm saying that banishes are also mini-rerolls? Lets say you have a full set of 3 skills to choose. 2 are medium, 1 is bad. By the looks of it, you generally choose green skills as long as they're fairly applicable, and they pop up quite often as far as choices go. Don't worry about the 1 banish, just choose a decent green skill. If you save your banishes for the times when you -only- have 3 white skills to choose, you have a chance of turning that 1 bad one into something much better.
NO WAY! I was watching some SS earlier and I wondered what is the most broken build in the game. So I did some reasearch, but what I found is pretty mid. And then out of nowhere, this video came out. I'm beginning to believe that Sifd is in the other side of my wall.

Sifd: Burn is 25%, half of that is 12.5%, half of that is 6%, so it's as if I got 6% chance to apply fragility.
Sifd earlier: let's banish slow
I see a lot of soulstone survivor RUclipsrs that immediately banish slow and it confuses me because you can get the upgrade that every time you apply slow it gives 50% chance to apply fragility, which seems amazing to me.
You can tell that Sifd is way more stoked about Brotato runs just by his voice in the intro.
'Might' is one of the best support skills to have. Combined with bloodlust and you've pretty much doubled what you can accomplish.
The arcane one is pretty pointless as cast frequency with the natural multi cast is vastly superior, especially with the added movement boost (which doesn't really seem to work very well).

"I really need Fragility" gets Fragility, rerolls it... nice
by not picking up the 100% crit buff you just add it to potential rolls in the future think about it as picking it up once banishes it forever.
Also 5 brittle beams + arcane power is better, you sacrificy 1 slot for the ability to technically have 5 additional beams! (assuming 100% doublecast at least, with potential for more!)
Didn't matter for this run, multicast has diminishing returns to proc another time after being procced.
So that means that higher multicast chance will trigger less often the more casts you have with 1 attack even though the percentage stacking stays the same.
He had more than 500% multicast total, which is more than enough.
The sweetspot to aim for is 250%, more is still good but becomes less good compared to when picked early.
The game wants you to do 3 spells, more spells will be harder and harder to pull off.
12:35 applying flat damage increase is the oposite of exponential damage...

Today I learned 48% equals double damage “theoretically”.
do you know how stacks of confusion work together? i tried a 6x beacon of light build. it says that confusion gives -1% chance to hit, but even when i put 900+ stacks onto bosses, they still hit me most of the time. that means the stacks aren't multiplicative since .99^900 is effectively zero, so i don't understand how they work. there were many misses throughout the run, though, so it definitely wasn't just a flat 1% miss chance either.

You should use this ray build coupled with the executioner rune...and stack debuffs. It melts literally everything.
At 4:47, why did you take 5% damage modifier instead of 30% light beam damage and increase it’s level by 1 as well? Is there a weird thing that makes the 5% better?
the dmg only applies to one of the beams versus the 5% damage hitting all 6 of them

This was 8 months ago but the best builds in the game that i have found is Nox arrow with sentinel and arcane blade with spellblade they both oneshots bosses at red portal nr 5 but my computer had enough after portal 6 so i didnt get to see the peak.

Absolute madness. I love it.
It's convenient that what appears to be one of the most (if not the most) powerful builds in the game also has by far the best quality of life when it comes to managing the visual clutter. So many other skills just block your view which is unpleasant but also makes it much harder to play the game and see what's going on. I feel like they need to figure out how to make the visual effects not so difficult to deal with for all the other skills or this will be the only one folks will use.
In options and graphics you can use the scroll bar to change the visibility of your spells, it doesnt look the best when its only down partly but its a whole lot better than not being able to see anything
@@kiIlercat22 It actually looks best at 1/8 of the visual slider. I’m old though and don’t need all the flashy lights.
Why wouldn't you take the Barbarian with his second weapon, since it has 40% extra cast frequency, then instead of the dash, you have the rune that adds holy skills. Imagine the build you had here, but faster...
Dash rune costs 1 point and the holy skills rune cost 2 I think, so that wouldn't work for him rn cause he doesn't have 10 rune points yet.

You'd have to play legitimately for a long time to even come close to being able to do no moving in this game.
you couldn't do it on high curse, because that ghost thats immune has an aoe thats literally a 1 shot, and it permanently chases you.
@@Toches highest you could do afk is 45, so still pretty high. you can disable only the reaper.
Some of the runes are severely ove-costed.
Might be a silly question but how do you get the ability to choose the same skill multiple times?
I don't think you can do that now. They must have fixed it as it seemed too OP.

Aha you got the idea reroll rune with singular focus rune, if your going to play infinity runs btw the 6 lasors cleared all my map to the end of curse 7 also i hade a run in the overload until 12 i was so busted my lasors where hiting the whole map and not moveing or rotating my mouse i was so busted that could have gone to sleep :D and wake up in the morning and stil keep going, but i finishid at 12 cuz there is not reason to go for more and it was borin

I really don't understand debuffs. if two different skills inflict the same debuff (like poison, doom, bleed) but with two different damage values per stack, who wins? the newest debuff? the highest damage value? do we even know how it is calculated? 🤔
If you have 1 Light Beam and you recast it while it's already being channeled, do you get the effect of 2 beams?
yes, a lower CD than duration is useful. (excepte for buff)

if you think this run was broken i saw a run (idk who by) where they became imortal, compleatly imortal
ive been trying to get an exorcism run going unfortunately, the lack of move speed and seemingly never getting a 3rd dodge move is killing me quicker than i can heal, but can drop 200 hp and be rehealed in seconds, unfortunately im now running into the limits of my near 10 year old pc and the aoe kills so many mobs and elites quickly that after the second spawn all the bosses just line up to replace them as they die, this char\actre gets killed wiht the +dam -speed skills
You shouldnt ban the debuff applications until they are at a 100% chance
They don't increase in chance, only damage.

Light Beams "increases all dmg taken by 1 for 5 sec" doesnt really go up in dmg no? i only see mine go up to like +7 dmg. The actually purpose of all Light Beams in for a combo of- "Frailty'" "Touch Of Ice" and last but not least "Hypothermia". Get as many "Frailtys" as you can, and make sure to have 1 and only 1 "Touch of Ice" then Banish "Touch of Ice" and the most important part is "Hypothermia". Light Beam can stack dots like no other but can not go thru walls, Since Magic Missile can go thru walls i almost always get 1 Magic Missile instead of all Light Beams
next video 100% damage resist (armor) is it possible to have 100% damage reduced?
Nah damage res is capped at 80% still a crazy amount but 100 is impossible
