I, a 15 year old, seeing if I would be able to pass an orthodontics test to see if I could graduate and make enough money to buy a cool plane:
Anything is possible
@@basicpianotutorial Realized studying something for over a decade for the money probably isn't a good idea lol. Just going to become a pilot.
U are the best
Thank you for your hard work ! Will you ever consider making more in depth content in the future about orthodontics? :) As someone who is working towards becoming an orthodontist, it would be amazing if you did haha
It would be my pleasure!

In question number 15. Is it possible to use a Hyrax expander in a 8 years old considering that premolars erupt at 11-12 years old?
Thank tou very much Dear Dr Ryan. Quick question, for Question 5, Angle classification is taken in CR or in MI? it seems that in CR, a class I could "look" like a class II because of the posterior movement?
Absolutely. You should determine Angle classification in MI.
For the purposes of this question, however, the 'most correct' answer is still B.
Even though a Class I relationship (as measured in MI) could look like a Class II if taken in CR, this question asks for the specific occlusal relationship while measuring in CR. That relationship is a Class II relation.
In that sense, it's a question of phrasing more than correct practice.
As a bonus food-for-thought - the mandible in CR will always be posterior or equal to MI. Therefore, the answer can't be D, since you could never have a Class III MI present as a Class I / II in CR.
*Please correct me if I'm wrong :)
Hi 😊 please can you also make video on LA techniques... thanks again
I already have a video on this topic on my channel 😊
Hey Doc ..
Can u explain me SEGMENTAL ARCH SYSTEM ....
please..
What do you think it can be?
Patient with squeletal prognatic maxilla and lower class 3 molar relationship. What
do u do per surgical ortho treatment? a.Labial movement of both upper and lower
incisors b.Lingual movement of upper and lower incisors c.Labial movement for upper
incisors and lingual for lower d.Lingual movement for upper incisors and labial for lower.
B?
Dental - Class III
Skeletal - Class II (better to name it Maxillary Progonia)
Hey I need some help with Question # 4. I am just not seeing it with the class 2 class 3 elastic set ups ,,, I know that we can think about the PDL surface areas but the Newtons 3rd has me at a quandary. Is there a difference between the class 2 class 3 placements? Help Help Help me O B 1 HMMM 🤔🤔 Perhaps that is IT ... Is it the PSA that is the key here? The greater PSA wins the tug a war? ?
Hey, thanks man.
Wanna do some more questions at one point?
Or further interesting things you found out about? :)
Regards
I'm looking for Mortho Question
💛💛💛
I have question why "D" if it's standing for lateral incisor but the sequence C-D-4 and would be a molar. Thanks
In the Palmer notation, “D” stands for the primary first molars!
@@mentaldental thank you!
Hello please share some root canal video also
I have a video on this topic on my channel!
Hey Ryan I think you meant to say in question #6 the permanent first premolars are #5 and not #4
4s are the first premolars when using the Palmer notation system!
Dr. Dental Mental, where do you practice? I would like you to be my son s orthodontist. I am a dentist too. Thanks!
I practice in North Carolina! I would love to be your son’s orthodontist if you were close by!
❤️❤️💞
But truth be told I am still not sure. Are We are talking about tooth tipping or jaw movement?
You didn't take the questions easy on us at all. Absolutely thorough. But for the last question, it didn't state whether it's a buccal cross-bite or a lingual crossbite. That got me a bit confused, and I really need some more clarification on the posterior cross bite topic. It keeps getting me confused and I will appreciate your clarification. Thank you so much doc for giving so much knowledge.
When not specified I am pretty sure it is lingual cross posterior crossbite since scissors/buccal cross bite is really rare.
