Sniping is really fun, especially with DMR’s and Bolt-actions. If you’re fighting a bolt action player with a DMR, you would generally have to be unpredictable in when and where you peak. DMR’s need more shots while bolt actions are the one-shot wonders

Noticed several people asking for tips for Gyro Players. This may or may not help you: Everything Bushka said about peeking different angles etc, still applies to gyro obviously. Its just the settings that are different. Unlike finger players, gyro players only have one setting. We are not blessed with "camera gyro" and "ADS gyro" lol. We just have "Gyro". This is how mine are set up, I am not going to give exact percentages, simply because Gyro sensitivity varies alot between individual players and devices: 2x, 3x: set for full auto sprays with 5.56 and 7.62 AR's. It is possible to snipe, but quite tricky at long ranges cause of the high sensitivity. 4x: sensitivity set slightly lower than required for a full auto spray with a VSS. This means i need to be aggressive with my phone movements when using a VSS, but also means the 4x is a legitimate sniper scope for me, and is effective with bolt actions and DMR's. I never use it for full auto on anything except VSS. 6x, 8x: these sensitivities are tuned for sniper rifles, particularly bolt actions. Same rules apply here as what buska said for camera sensitivity, ie: make this as low as you can, while still being able to track a moving target. One final tip that may or may not help you. Set your bolt actions to "Release to Fire". I found that the very action of me tapping the fire button made the gyro move around a bit. With that setting, I am able to hold down the fire button, set the reticle on some unfortunate grubs head, and then simply lift my finger. Phone doesn't move that way. This does take a little bit to get used to, but once you have it worked out, it can make sniping with gyro A LOT easier. FYI: I play 3 finger claw, the last tip might not work so well for thumbs only players. Stay safe out there all you grubs 😁
The best snipers know how to work out risk and reward. Quick peaks with 1 headshot is more effective than exposing yourself and constantly trying for that killer shot.

Sometimes i think i'm the best sniper of the world and then i got matches, not hitting any target 🤔 btw. saw your tips to use an AKM like a DMR and tried it with lot of different weapons. 6x scope and silenced Vector on single shot better than VSS... i loved that Sanhok Match😍

One of the best tip that has come from playing too much sniper is to just relax. Try not to chase after their head while aiming instead slowly move your cross hair to their head. It'll force you to relax. And if you are having hard time hitting a moving target, try to mentally picture them moving, and aim for that direction ahead of them. Fire when they walk right into your cross hair. This will also force you to relax.
I recently started to be the sniper for my team..and I was started to get more kill, I hit the head shots but was having trouble with the camera sensitive but this video will help me fix that..

I feel that when I'm slightly moving my scope, aim assist actually kicks in quite a bit and helps with headshots, maybe that's the 3x and 2x affect you're observing?

Hi bushka I seem to get more successful headshots using 60fps compared to my current 90fps phone. I suspect I'm still adjusting to the slightly different timing, but it's frustrating. Any idea why this may be?
What has made me a very good sniper, because i love sniping, is the gyroscope. Without having changed anything in my sensitivity (too bored to test it), i have gyroscope on, when on scope, so i am able to find these mm that i want on my screen to get that headshot.
👍There's no feeling like headshot & KO when your friends need help. In my Sqad I'm designed marksman who provide cover fire so I rock SLR ,mini14 ,Mk14 ...but watching this video I will play more solo's with bolt action rifle. Just 1 problem I found out just right now that in solo's some players are playing in Sqad 😠 ( maybe they push wrong button)
One of things that no one seems to notice is that there is prob in pubgm its been there from the start like when ads it's really hard to aim at very small targets and it's not to do with sensitivity idk how to explain this but it's like when u have from drops play codm and see how smoother it feels to use the scopes when going for headshots the sope is way more smoother whereas in pubgm it feels choppy almost like ur losing frames when tracking
Gyro settings are important for those using phones..... I actually tried using 8x with high gyro for mk14 spraying....decided to just setup for sniping and drop the 8x to 6x for mk14 sprays. .it's hard but possible

Wow. I have my 6x scope at the sensitivity of 8... And you thought you were low with 12. But I feel comfortable with it, sooo... And by the way I would never use 12. That's way too much for me. Even 8 seems to be a little too much for what you explained. Maybe there's a difference in the sensitivity settings depending on the device you use.
If you are on mobile and trying to use snipers, use gyro. It's very hard to make those minor adjustments with your thumb on a smaller screen but gyro just makes it so much easier.

The Bushka you forgot something very important. Move. Always keep moving even when scoping. Stop only for a brief instant when you're pulling the trigger. And then move again regardless of whether you hit the target or not. Stationary snipers are free kills for other snipers. I snipe other snipers very often when they're stationary and scoping someone else. You do move a lot yourself. But you didn't mention that in the video so I'm spelling it out for the others.

Has anyone noticed the ADS sensitivity settings for the 6x has no effect when you dial it down? Try it yourself. Put a 6x on an AR and turn the ADS up to 300%. It will react the same way as having it on 1%. I’ve never heard anyone mention this.
peeking is totally unnecessary and even detrimental to sniping unless you are holding a narrow angle in a window or behind an awkward position with little cover. It just increases the time it takes for you to setup the shot.

I love snipers... I'm one of the only ones in my clan team that runs a sniper regularly thats good at it... so when I don't get to have a sniper its hard for me because subliminally my positioning is that of a sniper... leaving me open to other snipers It sucks

Higher refresh rate is always better, however RUclips only supports 60FPS video for now.
