Aditya Vashisht was 26 years old when he was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome. He always had a special focus on fitness, but after this disease, he could not even move his finger. The family members of Aditya Vashisht and his wife were very worried about him, but everyone supported him a lot in this bad time and he defeated this disease, but it was not easy to recover his half-dead body and stand on his feet again.

Hi my name also aditya even me got married in 2018 & in 2019 got paralyzed below waist due to spine tuberculosis, got completely bed ridden for 4 months then some how some 1 suggested a doctor took physiotherapy under him went on stretcher after a month got discharged from hospital came out walking with the support of Walker after that it took me almost 9 months to walk independently without Walker. Today I thank God n wife wife mom dad n my sister who stood next to me
I'm a banker today bought a house in financial capital of the country and very Happy and thankful to God
U r lucky man. I suffered from brain stroke in 2021 and got paralyzed now recovered almost 98%. But my wife took divorce. After that I realized how the world is.

100% relatable as I am also diagnose with the auto immune disorder GBS when I was just 14 the unbearable pain,body paralysis,organ system gradually stop functioning which leads to death if it's not treated properly....
Thanks to God I diagnosed at early stage and treated properly without having surgery or heart attack but after medical treatment the physiotherapy with medicines is just soul wrenching process to become a normal person....
Suffering this disorder is just like having a rebirth because you need to start again walking, writing, running and to learn it and you need to be taken care as a newborn baby. My parents supported me in this very hard time beacuse of them I am alive today.But today also I have kinetic tremor in my hands due to GBS.
Thank you for this awareness as it's necessary to be diagnosed early....

Apologies for putting this up @Joshtalks, there is nothing wrong in sharing experiences but I wish there also goes in little research. GBS is an autoimmune disorder and no 2 cases are alike. More than willpower, what matters is the effective and timely administration of IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) also known as a wonder drug. There are scores of patients who don't recover despite the strongest willpower. This is not to pull someone down, but you need to realize that you can't shove and celebrate the formula of strong will everywhere. Most of the patients afflicted with GBS recover with the administration of IVIG and rehabilitation. It's great that this gentleman pulled out, but due credit be given to the medicine and we could pause the valorization of willpower.

My elder brother was suffering with cidp another type of GBS and we are not economically strong it's treatment are ivig which is very costly 1to 1.5lac per month al last he was completely paralysed and go to ventilator for;14 days and passed away in 2019at the age of45 years , All the story said by u is truly faced by me and my family and I feel very sorrowful when we heard anyone by GBS and cidp
