You were very useful Leah. I’m in Med School now. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you, glad I was able to help and congrats on med school!! Wishing you the best
I love these short cut videos! These should definitely be a playlist series of MCAT tricks!
Glad you like them!
Teachers always told us to round, but they never explained the purpose. Thank you for this wisdom!
You're so welcome!
Thank you, I really appreciate this!
You're very welcome!
Nice I simply understand it thanks
you're so welcome
Hi! was the video you were referring to ever published?
I'm sorry, but the second part to this Logs video has not been published. You can find my entire MCAT Math series as well as a couple of older logarithms videos on my website at Leah4sci.com/MCATmath
Hey Leah at 6:41 in the video, can you better explain why the answer is not 10^-2. I thought this since the imaginary period is behind the 0 and needs to move two spaces to the left to create 0.1. I can see why it’s 10^-1 because in a fraction it would be 1/10 but I’m still a little confused on why we treat it as 1 x 10^-1. Btw I was at your schedule workshop and you did such an amazing job I really appreciate you helping get my study schedule together!
When we move the decimal in 0.1 to turn the number into scientific notation, we are not trying to create the number 10. We are trying to create the number 1. So we move the decimal place over only ONE time to the right to get 1 x 10^-1, or just 10^-1.

I tried to find the next video you mentioned with a more accurate method for when we cannot round up or round down but I had no luck. I had a question where I was asked to find log(15) and if I was able to find that next video I'm sure it would be a huge help. Please point me in the right direction.
I apologize! That particular video has not been published yet, and is still in the works. Make sure to view all of my available videos in this series at Leah4sci.com/MCATmath
@@Leah4sciMCAT is the video up
Hi very useful video but I cant find the next one that helps you solve for pH = -log(0.0065) without a calculator
The next video in this series, which will address that particular problem, has not been published yet. Thanks for checking! Stay tuned for more.
@@Leah4sciMCAT Hey, was just wondering when that video will be uploaded?
how did u solve the last question? I cant find it anywhere
I'm sorry, but the last question will be solved in the second part to this Logs video, which has not been published at this point in time.
For more help, make sure to view my entire MCAT Math series at Leah4sci.com/MCATmath
Wait but what is the next video?
never mind, I think this was an intro video to Video 8?
Thanks for asking. You can see the entire series here: leah4sci.com/mcat/mcat-math-without-a-calculator/
