The most moving performance of this sonata I've ever heard. Miraculous! I only heard him once in Debussy when he was in his early twenties. An unforgettable concert at Salle Gaveau. What a great loss for those who crave authenticity and depth in music!
What a completely understood, fantastic performance! Finally, Schubert brought to us as he deserves it. Kocsis is obviously one of the best musicians AND pianists alive today, globally. Beeing as well a representative artist of the great Hungarian School, he transmits to us a tradition and a kind of musicianship that carries the day in both the Twentieth AND the Twenty-first centuries worldwide.
❤💐 kedvencem volt Kocsis Zoltán, szeretem hallgatni, ma is! 🌹

Wonderful indeed. I wouldn't have expected Kocsis to be so convincing in Schubert! Great discovery!
Just utterly sublime. It almost feels like Kocsis was infallible.
Schubert's farewell sonata - so tragically beautiful - so full of pathos.....
Magnificent! What a terrible loss, that he is no longer with us!
Quel admirable pianiste il était: Dans Schubert, au sommet des montagnes !
The best pianist in Europe perhaps
Certainly up there.
@@leomiller2291 He was in the top 1. The last great pianist
