I’ve seen something similar to this where they take stridebreaker into hybrid items, becoming more of a skirmisher and using R > Stridebreaker to ensure they hit the E with the slow.
Dude, I have been playing Akali mostly building AD bruiser build for a few months, since I find her more like a fighter than assassin. Yesterday while spamming AD Akali in Ultimate Spellbook, I once imagined that I am in your video with the same title. Now I feel like I'm seeing the future. LOL

He just reached Challenger and one of his cool weird picks is that he does Shyvana Top and he builds Gauntlet, Stoneplate, Warmog, Ionian Boots, and to top it all off he builds a spell thief support item and he upgrades it. So he plays lane like usual and proceeds to become a peeling pseudo tank carry.

I’ve been playing as akali for a while too for the same reasons of liking the bruiser style of play more. I ran sunderer into ravenous hydra for the waveclear and streraks but I’ll have to try this

I remember getting him in my team. He picked akali and my team thought he is ap, so we were full ad. He was going stridebreaker into titanic hydra, inting the hell out of enemy top. Next game met him again and he smurfed...
Even if akali goes ad she does ap damage, because her ap abilities scale on ad as well. So ur not full ad
Another ad Akali build worth trying is Divine sunderer into a Tiamat item. The main thing is that this build focuses more on using Akali passive procs, so the Q+passive auto combo is more important

This is one of the most entertaining series.
To add to this video, if you're opponents are playing a very tanky comp or you're facing something like a Malphite, You can run Divine Sunderer. Your passive is basically a second sheen, so you're doing buttloads of damage
Dual pen is great as well
U can also go for divine sunderer plus shadowflame and thank me later.
I don't play Akali but I've always said i bet AD would work because of her mobility and the strength of items this season

Another good mythic for ad alkali is divine sunderer. It gives her more damage for her autos which are already empowered, gives her healing from said autos, and divines mythic passive will help with her magic damage handicap as it gives magic penetration. Should try it out.

I was literally thinking about sustain ad akali yesterday. If the next video is a bard video im buying a loto ticket RN
For the build, I would recommend trying Divine Sunderer, as it provide both Magic & Armor Pen %, suiting perfectly this hybrid dmg dealing playstyle, & giving you extra burst while proccing your passive, giving you tremendous sustainable damage in long fights.
DS means no ironspike whip, thus leaving you without aoe waveclear, so I usually go tiamat 2nd, either Ravenous hydra for sustain (amazing) or Titanic hydra if there arent much dps in the ennemy team that melt your hp (ADC like vayne or AP like cassio)
I usually go Sterak or Zhonia if they have no trap/CC they can easely land after Zhonia active (i.e. Caitlyn trap, Jinx W...)
this is my core build DS Tiamat Sterak, the rest is very situationnal, you can go Void staff for tanky teams, Morello for anti heal, even a last item Rabadon can be good if you built Zhonia Void before.
That hybrid recommendation of Divine Sunderer sounds legit, nice advice

the problem isnt the damage, akalis damage is ok without or without damage items, the issue is survivability, that's where the mythic choice is going to really alter the playstyle of this champion alot like completely
@@richardbrake1523 as I said DS gives more sustain in long fight than Gore, thus suiting more the bruiser Akali playstyle, although i'm not challenger I can tell DS is way more broken than Gore atm
+ akali has survivability tool in the form of her 3 dashes + her shroud + zhonia or Sterak
Shadowflame is a great alternative now to Void Staff. For when you don't need quite so much Magic Penetration and some more health with this sort of build.
Finally a build I can try out, every other champ you presented were champs I sucked on lmao
Got to gold with ap akali mid but alwas went bruiser ap since i felt so squishy eith magic pen build. I tried out the on hit bruiser build with divine and titanic which is also really fun but this seems a lot better in comparison with all that survivability definitely trying it out

For bruiser I think that divine surrender is better on akali ad cuz it gives magic pen and Armor pen.

Got a friend who runs this regularly except with divine sunderer for the dual pen and strong passive proccs. Been expecting this build for a while...
One of the best aspects of hybrid champs is being able to buy any item gor any situation.
Besides Crit and onhit akali can buy anything.

The AD build probably worked better before the mini rework since she had some Ad scalings removed. One thing what would be worth a try is a hybrid build
is it really worth it to build magic pen when you mostly hit with AA and ad scaling ability?
The abilities scale with AD, but they do Magic Damage - so you need magic pen for the damage to go through.

I did played her ad at her rework I liked it better but every one maked fun of me because they sayed it was trash so I'm happy to see that
I'm gonna do my math nerd on this one, but akali's Q has worse ad scaling than ap considering that it is harder to build ad than ap.
Nice piece of knowledge to have to know what's best to build is that: for an AD scaling to be better than an AP one, it must be 50% better, as in: a 45% AD scaling would be as good as a 30% AP.
In the case of her Q, its AP scaling is 60%, meaning that it would take a 90% AD scaling for it to be as good.
Now, of course, this doesn't take into acount the fact that the scaling on her Q is a TOTAL AD scaling which makes it better than bonus AD. Her Base AD is relatively low though. So it doesn't make that big a difference.

- passive ms speed
- shroud (movementspeed + stealth)
- E1
- E2
- R1
- R2
- usually Rocketbelt

I got to try AD Akali in Wild Rift when Divine Sunderer was added.

By far my favorite MMORPG, it's the only one I didn't get tired of. I absolutely hate grinding, and GW2 makes hitting max level easy, and legendary items are entirely quality of life, with no better stats than the tier below them, making end game grinding infinitely less mandatory. There's no infinite scaling, no max level or gear level increases with expansions. It's all side grades rather than upgrades - grinding is rewarding but not mandatory, meaning getting into WvW or any other end game content is very easy :)
Also the ingame PvP scene is better than any other MMORPG I've seen, including WoW.
Love seeing my favorite (non-LoL) game get some recognition~
I've got strategies as well, but Im stuck with bugs what makes me lose lp, like not being to connect to the game, or crashing meanwhile champ select what counts as a "dodge" and these bugs started 4 months ago... ty riot and they refuse to fix them
