- This is my TAFG (number 0082) in action. My 1st pinball was an Addams, I had never really played pinball in my youth but a mate of mine (Steve) said to me one day "I used to play a pinball machine called The Addams Family and it was really good". As my name is Adams I had to get one and that was the start of the pinball hobby/madness! That machine got played day and night, I remember Steve and I playing it from 7 in the evening until 5 in the morning once!
This is my 5th TAF and it would be the last one I sold if I ever had to get rid of them even over MM! This machine is in fantastic condition, I have owned it for over 5 years. The playfield has been clear coated with new ramp, plastics etc, etc. Even the metal ramps and wireform has been gold plated and yes the balls are gold plated too!!! One of the coolest games ever created with lots of fabulous sound bites, I love it!
This Table, along with Bride of Pinbot and Fun House have to be the best tables in the world. The action on them is so absorbing and fun.
Geez, when I was a younger man ... I would spend many countless hours pouring my quarters into one of these machines!

The best Pinball-Machine ever. i played this often between 1991 and 1993 at Duisburg-Mainstation.
This is one of the best plays on this machine I've ever seen!

Great game, I go to Happidrome arcade in Southend on sea to play. Also have a Dr Who and Indiana Jones machines. Plus a Star Wars limited edition in Adventure island. 🤟

I didn't notice the ball was gold plated till I read the description!!! That's bad ass looking I think it fits the machine well and nice job on the restoration.
As a player of this machine who's been lucky enough to only "Tour the Mansion" once, what a game you have!! Holy smokes, nice work! :-)
AWESOME FUN machine...thanks for sharing....The arcade where I played it, took it out...one by one all of the pinball machines are dissapearing
Not a bad score! The Addams machine at Asbury Park's Silverball Arcade has a really terrible deal with the bear kick ramp.. when that ball hits the black rubber piece on it's way to the right flipper.. it'll bounce around and you literally have .. probably 10-15% chance of it bouncing out into the side out lane instead of down to the flipper where it should go. This really screws up the gameplay because of how important that bear kick ramp is. The only safe way to hit it is if the ball will divert to the left flipper. Bear kick ramp is HUGE in this game, as it SHOULD be a safe and easy way to get extra balls, mansion rooms, and a very nice bonus when you hit 99, I believe. Really wish they'd fix that. My all-time favorite machine.

NICE! I still have never managed to get to Tour The Mansion. The only time I've hit a wizard mode was Rule The Universe on Attack From Mars..... the way that one ends is a little disconcerting ;)
that is some table, i just read about it on wikipedia, and there are some cool features, like the the little flipper at the top that hits the ball by itself, and the fact that sometimes the two bottom flippers flip in time to the finger snaps in the addams family tune. Also you can attempt activating a hidden function that lets u hear an audio clip of Nat Perrin telling a short pun. This function is said to exist only in 100 first-release machines and was removed in later CPU revisions.
You played very good. I never played this table before, but I remember hearing the Cousin It's yelp and Gomez saying "Greed" in the Twilight Zone Pinball.
I owned one of these and I especially liked to play it in the dark because of al the lights like when multiball trigers the storm cloud on top of the scoreboard.
Addams Family has a 2nd knocker inside the cabinet for this, when it fires you can feel it like someone is trying to get out!

It's a dance in the film like a Russian Cossack dance. A lot of machines that have licensed titles really need you to watch the film to appreciate it!

RetroRepair Blimey, that was a while ago, I used to have my games on 5 ball, weirdly I was playing this last night and got to tour on 3 ball, I will have to record it again!!!
I used to play this all the time when I was 16 during the summer of 1993. I had my initials in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place but couldn't beat the first place TDK.
I haven't seen this game played in over 20 years. I loved it then at my dad's bowling alley on Wednesday nights. I want to get this game to start a pinball game collection, but Addams Family is like $9K and that's too much for a 25 year old game.

If you are looking for just any Addams Family game, you can find a few in the New Hampshire area like Funspot in Laconia. If you're specifically looking for the Gold edition. That's tougher to find. There MIGHT still be one in New Jersey....
There is a dot-matrix still that comes on the display for about 3 seconds.you press the left flipper button 7x, then the Start button 1x, the right flipper 14x, Start button 1x, left button 20x and the Start button 1x
(collector's edition only> Press the left button 12x, the Start button 1x, right button 5x, Start 1x, left 4x and Start 1x
Design credits: Left button 13x, Start button 1x, right 1x, Start 1x, left 2x and Start 1x.
All codes only work in game over mode, and no credits.
which version's gameplay do you prefer? The standard or the special edition?

I rocked this machine years ago at an arcade in Richmond Ky. I thought I remembered getting to a stage where the machine goes “dark” and then reboots saying “everything is lit!” And going into multi-ball. I thought it was after touring the mansion but I didn’t see that happening here. Any idea what part of the game that was?
Tour the Mansion cycles through the modes, the game that springs to mind that says "everything is lit" is Twilight Zone when you get lost in the zone.

I tried a pinsound board in it but didn't like it as the original sound etc are great.
They put a normal Addams Familly in the market :D
It's unlikely you'll ever see a Gold Addams "in the wild". They only made 1,000 of them, and were primarily marketed to private collectors - I don't even think the Pinball Hall of Fame has one. They're also extremely valuable - three to four times what a normal Addams would go for (assuming they were both in the same condition). Your best chance would be a pinball expo.
And it's been confirmed in this video, the second multiball's super jackpot IS triple even after the Thing restart. I've been trying to pull that off.
Theres a place in germany where they have 2 of the normal version xD i played Them both. A shame they didnt quite work

Funny. I always hear "Now you've done it" when I shoot the vault to start multiball. Maybe that's different in the gold edition?

Where are you in the world? there is the UK Pinball League if ytou are in the UK, 6 meetings a year in peoples houses, we are a friendly bunch!

A truly great pinball, but a bit overhyped I think. IMHO, Indiana Jones: TPA, Star Trek: TNG and Twilight Zone are far more amusing.

Do you have upgraded speakers or subwoofer? I just got my Addams and it just doesnt have the bass yours has.
Hi< yes it has a Pinball Pro sub woofer and speaker set, the whole machine shakes when multiball starts!
Do you know? Williams do this pinball beacuse he own bally, and he do the scared stiff and nba fastbreak
