That's what happens when you run the game without configuring it in "Direct Sound 3D", if you run it without doing it, a lot of weird sounds like that will happen.

Sorry but i can't play on 3DFX Glides. I don't know why, but whenever I start 3DFX and play, the game never opens, just a black screen appears and after a few seconds it goes back to the game menu.
