Its so funny to me that shes understand her mom speaking to her in both Japanese and korean, but only responding in English, the true talent of multi lingual kids~

Yeah same. I saw all these shows and mukbang vids and the way they devoured it makes it look so delicious. Tried both the instant version and also the fresh one from a korean restaurant and like you said it was just okay. I was even a bit disappointed cuz i had such high expectations 😂😂😂
I had to eat it 3 times before my palate got used to it. Quite honestly, I even told myself I was never going to eat it again because it was bland. I gave it another go for the 4th time because somebody gave me a whole pack of it and, what do you know, I liked it. My daughter tried it once and liked it right away.
Ahh thanks for this. I thought something was wrong with me for not thinking its not mindblowingly amazing. Hope I can like it someday. Maybe its the kind of food that takes getting used to.
It’s similar to most American immigrant families where the parent understands english and the child understand the home language but they speak opposite
They moved to Hawaii when she was younger...so English definitely became her main language now because she interacts a lot with English speaking friends there and also at school. While Japanese comes 2nd while Korean is 3rd since her father mostly converse with her mom in Japanese. She's still definitely multilingual tho
