Justin always bringing the latest and greatest Alabama recruiting news. Awesome job.
Tell me he doesn't remind you of another QB DeBoer had recently, except he's right-handed.
Roll Tide! He will become a 5 star!
Nah he 4 star material since he came to duncanvill he had stacked athletes on offense and defense in college the speed and Athleticism is different and he not special reminds a lot of Demetrius Davis former north short Qb star from Houston Texas and he was a bust and transferred from auburn 2021-2022 and now he at FCS school if anything he can be the backup as a redshirt sophomore in 2027
@@AlexSmith-gw5kw This is one of the worst takes I have heard in a long time. Demetrius Davis was ranked almost 200 spots lower coming out of highschool than Keelon is right now. Keelon is currently ranked #38 in the 247 Composite, while Davis was ranked #229.
Both may have been from good highschool programs with good players around them, but does that one fact somehow make a player not good? That's lazy and shows you are simply biased (Auburn fan, I assume?).
Russell's film immediately shows why he is ranked and thought of as highly as he is by EVERY major recruiting site out there. His arm strength, pocket presence, decision making, and accuracy are all very good. It takes less than a minute of watching his highlights to see that.
On top of that, Keelon is also very fast and a smooth, instinctive runner when he leaves the pocket. You see him outrunning defenders in one of the most loaded highschool classifications/areas in the entire country. Plus, just for kicks, he is listed 4.5 inches taller than Davis. Also, Keelon will be jumping into an offensive system which, up to this point, has been EXCELLENT for quarterback play, while Davis went into a system that was, well.....not so great.
So, I really can't see a single similarity between the two players other than they both played against good highschool competition in Texas. But keep the negativity toward highschool kids trying to live their dreams coming.
@@mattmccain622 fair take but my point is out of last 10-15 years I’ve seen an insane amount of qb 4 star and 5 star be absolute busts and in this era the transfer portal has turned top recruits into quitters a couple months or 1-2 years into the collegiate career and they gone bcuz the collegiate level is nothing compared to high school level
@@AlexSmith-gw5kw That isn't anything new. Plenty of quarterbacks ranked out of highschool have been busts, historically too. But I still see no reason to say that Keelon will be one of them. There is never any guarantee with a player coming into college, but there still needs to be some reason before you say that a player will automatically be a bust before he even plays his senior year of highschool. Keelon has a good skill set and seems to have a good attitude and good people around him. His odds should be better than most - not worse. Let's at least give the kid a.chance.
@@mattmccain622 fair assessment but my point is social media last 10 years especially last 4 years since Covid hypes kids up so much that it’s inevitable that they are majority or all busts it’s sucks to call kids that but I’ve seen it my whole life and more than not the percentages of them being bust is like 8 or 9/10 of them are busts by potential standards that social media and high rankings put on them
Excellent recruiting!! Roll tide !!!

Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤
Actually, the Open Division of the Southern Section in California is the toughest by far. Mater Dei, St John Bosco, Corona Centennial, Orange Lutheran, etc. Anyway, Roll Tide!
All them damn private schools that recruit you just name give me the toughest public school division, goofy
@JuiceThaGoat1 What lil kid?! Corona Centennial is a public school. Long Beach Poly is a public school. Same division.
It’s like 6 schools. Texas has more good schools.
