Keelon has good pocket presence, takes care of the football, commands his team, and can beat you with his arm (regardless if it is short, intermediate, or the deep ball) or his legs. Once he gets on campus at Tuscaloosa, that training staff will beef him up some more. Im glad I stumbled upon this video.
Keelon is impressive. As a Quarterback, what I see are: - placid pocket presence - professional poise amongst the noise - tremendous touch & timing on his deep ball - will catch defenses off guard with the change of pace on his fast ball - surprisingly athletic and speedy for as good a passer as he is - plays on time, never panics or speeds up his fundamentals - and this could be a reach.. but it feels like everybody trusts him in that Duncanville program (your undisputed leader) I think the only reason he's a 4 star recruit is strictly based on not having ideal size. They say he weighs 185 on these websites, but his playing weight looks more like 175 ish. As of late I've seen more muscle being put on his frame, so he should leave high school at around 190 ish. After Elite 11 MVP they may reward him that long overdue fifth star; we'll see.
To be honest it is smarter for him to decommit but, SMU gave him a huge bag cuz of NIL. But if I am being honest I think he is the second best QB in the 2025 class behind Bryce Underwood. He also has the best mechanics that I’ve ever seen out of a high school kid.

Yeah he is very thin. He needs a real training program image this kid at 6'4 215-225 in 2 years
