    I always find it best to be wary of anybody who so casually dismisses other people's freedom

    That’s all we needed, just different experts that could tell a better story.
    Ignore the fact that ALL of the experts were and still are proven wrong.

    I have never heard of this author, and I'm actually glad. The collective IQ on that stage is in the single digits. These are the type of people that gladly accept their masters.

      He once had a brain. I had to see these authors turn into Diseased Birds of Prey, like W.H. Auden, which has happened in 2022.

    As long as you can pretend Sweden, India, Africa, and a host of other countries didn't exist during the viral outbreak, and surely didn't have success with other methods. And that the average person who was classified a covid victim was deep into 3-4 life shortening comorbidities, including the beginning "victims" who were in hospice in WA state.

    Michael Lewis is a great writer but appearing on Democratic Party TV like this hurts his brand.

    Americans feel entitled to their freedom. Sometimes you are asked to make sacrifices for the greater good. 1/2 of the country missed the boat on earning their freedom through shared sacrifice and collective action. Pretending it would fix itself was the problem.

    • @Aleainctaest
      @Aleainctaest 2 года назад +1

      There is NO "greater good" when you are sacrificing the people. You can have no standing for the "many" when you sacrifice the few. You have already failed and are a totalitarian tool in need of that wall for your ideological beliefs in collectivism.
      Thank God the USA is a Constitutional Republic based on equal laws for all that protect the most vulnerable of all people, the individual, from the headless, brainless, moral less mob.

      In this country, we don’t earn freedom. We are not “entitled” to it, it is endowed by our creator.
      And contrary to minority belief, our creator is not the democrat party.

    • @anewberr
      @anewberr 2 года назад

      @@timjilman3295 Which creator? Also, who is it endowed to; women, minorities, immigrants, Muslims, LGBT, children, felons? What happens to our freedoms if we choose to do nothing and they are literally picking up the dead curbside? Pretending a problem will go away and that common sense can solve a worldwide crisis rather than experts with absence of history is a foolish belief. The point Mr. Lewis is making is that experts could have helped but rather we decided to rely on elected officials to decide what to do.
