Thanks for continuing to provide great content! I know the G3X supports electronic checklists, but I've yet to see anyone use them. Are they just not practical or more trouble than they're worth? When I flew an SR20 they were primary with the laminated copy as backup. I'm about to start my TSi build and was looking at the checklist editor, but I would value your opinion(s) on doing that versus just using a paper version. I don't want to just use technology for technology's sake
The electronic checklists work great. They can occupy valuable screen space (which can get in the way of monitoring the engine for example), but they work well. Always backup with paper. We also run these checklists on iPad

It would be better to turn on the EFIS, avionics and select flaps up when the engine is already running - better for battery health and life.
