It blows my mind how you have such a small subscriber count. Knowledge bombs throughout. Cheers!

I’m starting my home bar and realize I have absolutely no knowledge of liquors. I found your video so educational.

I'm also in NC, and I feel your pain, with regards to availability of the more exotic liquors. I lived in the DC area for years, and between the stores in DC, NoVa, and MD, you can get just about anything you want up there. Here in NC, not so much...

Nice to see someone defend Johnnie Walker Red. Personally, my favorite cheap scotch for mixing is Teacher's Highland Cream. I love how smoky it is for a budget scotch.

This is probably the best video of this type that I've seen and I've seen many. Even channels with 100,000's of subscribers are not as good as this one. The only things I would add is... For Rye Whiskey, buy Rittenhouse or Old forester, if you can't find Rittenhouse. I would say monkey shoulder might be a better scotch to start with than JW Red.
But the most important of all is... Don't buy 750ml of liqueurs, you don't know if you will like. Campari, Aperol, and Amaro, even the best one's can be really dividing. Buying big bottles is not usually the most financially responsible decision. I for one HATE Campari, and Aperol is not much better. And fernet to me just tastes like mint. Also many people don't like gin, but there are many cocktails that use gin, that you can't taste the gin except in the aftertaste. You can get gin that has strong juniper flavor and one that is vodka with a hint of juniper

If anyone has ever been to Alley Twenty Six... then you know the video we need to have is how to replicate the most amazing, religious experience inducing hamburgers they make there. Great cocktails too... Ugh, i used to go every week when i was traveling to the ATC for business. And i dig that they have the option to buy the kitchen a round of drinks. Great spot.. I wish I could ask Shannon to sell me a franchise and open one in eastern PA

Great video. But how about vodka, vermouth, brandy, irish cream and bitters.

Fantastic info, a bit too much on the tequila part, but very knowledgeable I must say
