- Do check out this super tasty, crisp, Goan style chicken samosas recipe. These are easy kheema samosas for beginners, you could say. Learn how to make this classic street food, in the comfort of your own home. These also make great starters for parties. Samosas are made with a crisp outer pastry and a spiced filling inside of seasoned chicken keema or kheema. It could also be a vegetable filling.

Ingredients
Covering
1 ½ cups maida
1 tbsp oil
½ tsp salt
Knead medium stiff dough. Rest for 15 minutes.
Divide into 9 to 10 balls.
Paste
3 tbsp maida
1 ½ to 2 tbsp water
Filling
350g boneless chicken
For marination
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 ½ tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp yogurt
2 tsp oil
For cooking the filling
2 tbsp oil
4 green chillies
2 tsp crushed ginger
2 tsp crushed garlic
2 - 3 tbsp water
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp chilli powder
2 med size onions finely chopped
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp lime juice
Chopped coriander leaves
Chopped mint leaves

Can we use this same recipe for mutton samosa?
Yes, you can, Nupur. But the mutton keema may take a little longer to cook.
Hi can I use wheat flour
Hi Coreen. I would suggest a mix of wheat flour and maida rather than only wheat flour, as we have to roll the samosa sheets thin. But remember, the outer covering won't be that crisp. In my other samosa recipe, for aloo samosas, I use a mix of atta and maida, but the dough is firmer and the outer covering is rolled out a little thicker than for chapatis. Which I why, here the outer covering is crisp.
