I moved back to America 7 months ago and cried throughout the entire video. Thank you for sharing the charm and beauty of Toyama and Mt. Tateyama, one of Japan’s three holy mountains.

Nice part of Japan. I spent a lot of time there on a project , way back in 2001 and 2002 . The snow road is amazing. They open the road at end of April or May. The snow is up to 20 meters deep.
I preferred SHIRA KAWA Go village, rather than AinoKura ...In fact, I never saw AinoKura, but, I have seen some nice photos of ShiraKawaGo in the winter and have visited it with all the snow.. Just Google it. ShiraKawaGo is the biggest town.

The thing I love most about the modern day Japan is how minimalistic and simple its country side citizens live their lives. It’s so amazing.

I stayed in Ainokura Village during the winter of 2017. It was amazing. One of the best experience I had in my Japan trips.
