- Sadly Remi crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her daddy Han on Wednesday. Many of you are aware she was having seizures and the severity and rate at they occurred left her with vision loss and brain damage.
From Remi's Mom:
“Thank you for the kind words. We are both completely devastated. I’m an absolute wreck she was my girl and we did everything together, I’m heartbroken. I loved her so much and I am so sad she is gone I am sad I didn’t get more time with her but feel somewhat at ease that she isn’t suffering. Thank you guys for everything we had the best in the bunch! Our address 37811 N Sheets Rd Elk, WA 99009! Kind words will really help me grieve our sweet baby Remi. It’s the (bleeping) worst. We are just completely at a loss in shock. I was hoping we would get more time but that time we had was amazing and I’m so grateful for the time we got with her. She is forever in my heart”

Backstory
It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out to you all to let you know that our sweet Remi passed away today. She was a member of our family, our pack, and as such, we wanted the other puppy families know before we let the group know of this devastating news. As you all painfully know, these dogs are so much more than fur babies to us and our group. Never would I have imagined that these “Covid” puppies would deliver so much happiness into the world. I sometimes forget that these puppies are essentially little celebrities and this little pack of 8 puppies has gained 700,000 views on our RUclips channel. I know that all of you had no idea that welcoming a puppy into your home would bring over 2,000 people in a group watching these puppies grow up in front of us. It is an experience that will connect us forever, and I am so blessed to be able to have these puppies in our life forever. That is why this news is so devastating to all of us. The McChess 8, will always be “our puppies”. Right now I know that Jasmin and Harlen need happy memories, words of love, and most importantly to help them honor their fur baby! Many of you know that Remi stayed with Sean and I while Jazmin and Harlen got married and I can tell you how special she was!
Remi was lucky to have such wonderful people in her short life.🥰

So sorry for the loss of Remi she was the cutest puppy and grew into a beautiful girl. I love watching the group of all the puppies during COVID it help me get through days when I didn’t think I could since we had a sick boy English Lab 12 years named Oscar it’s been 9 months and we miss him so much. I couldn’t wait to check and see the next video and share with my husband. I wish I could have taken one of those beautiful puppies but I live in Ohio and all the puppies went to great homes. I’m so happy Remi went to such loving parents who loved her so much. She will be truly missed by the group but most of all her parents, Ken and Sean and everyone else who watch these beautiful dogs. I am so sorry to hear. Remi was such a gift. Last May, Ginger Rae came into our lives, the runt of her litter of fox red labs. Until then, we watched every video you posted of these precious pups. Remi had our hearts. We cannot even imagine. My family's hearts goes out to you all ❤

I’m so very very sorry for your loss. It is like loosing your child. You know in your heart everyone loved her and she was given the best of care. She is now at peace and suffers no more ❤️❤️❤️. She is now in puppy heaven 😔

Oh no Sweet little Remi. She is now with her daddy and her Uncle Tobes. It sucks but sometimes there are just no answers to why these things happen. Just take comfort in knowing that while she was here she was loved tremendously and touched the lives of so many. Prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time.

awe i know this has to be an emotional roller coaster for you with the new puppy and how exciting they are and then to lose one. please give my condolences to jasmine i know that dogs are equivalent to others children. i'm not a dog owner but i want to be just afraid the dog i adopt will probably outlive me and i don't want to leave it homeless. any ways prayers to you both and jasmine.

@@KensKreations my heart is broken now, too. We just found out last night that our precious Bubba has terminal cancer. His symptoms came quickly and we are heartbroken and trying to get thru this.

Memories come flooding back of sweet Peony........then, Peony grew a little bigger and became sweet Remi, with the best family a puppy could ever wish for.
The rainbow bridge 🌈 came too soon for sweet Remi.
The pain of heartbreak 💔 hurts so, so bad. For me, 4 months since I lost my Assistance Dog, Eros, the pain is still there, but being around other dogs puts a smile on my face again.
No dog will ever replace Remi, but a successor dog could put a bandaid on that broken heart.

Our Lincoln was much older than Remi. He went into seizures on Christmas Eve , they continued about every 20 minutes. Our Emergency vet is an hour away but much longer in a blizzard. We said goodbye Christmas morning from the parking lot due to covid we could not there with him

Oh, I am so sorry. You probably don't remember but when they were very tiny I offered to take her, the runt, because I loved her so much. This was before you had all of the owners. She was so precious. I live on the East Coast so I was pretty sure you wouldn't consider me, but this is just heartbreaking. I just can't click "like", but thank you for telling us. I am so saddened by this.
I do remember. Thank you for your offers I know she would have been well taken care of with you. I’m so lucky we were able to keep her here in Spokane and grateful I got to spend her birthday with her.

I am saddened to hear about Remi passing on. I know this is a hard time for everyone but as the Doc said it is the quality of life and if there is no activity, that is not a good quality. I work at a clinic and have seen many pets cross without an owner due to COVID. I will say this, No Pet ever goes alone at our place. We all gather and say goodbye with them. I hope Jazmin and Harlen take time to properly grieve. It is a family member that has “fur”. They are beautiful babies. Please know that Remi is pain free and in a much better place! I’m so sorry for your loss. May you all find peace with this. Sending big hugs to all!

OMG, My heart is Broken. I am so very very sorry to Everyone. To our family who was the Best to Remi in the short time she had. Wow Life is so Terrible to us sometimes. But Remi was the Best Little Girl. Words can never Ever say how sorry I am to hear this Awful News. Love and Hugs to all. Time will heal all.
