Even in its heyday, the PS3 browser was awful. It crashed regularly loading news pages. At the time I attempted for a month to watch television over the internet on it. It was capable, but struggled and lagged terribly. Loading it up with torrent videos corrupted the hard drive which was a problem. I eventually resorted to a computer instead which worked much better.
