I don't plant crops, or use turrets, they chew into your camp budget MASSIVELY! Farming water for caps makes you tons more a lot faster! Selling chems is also a quick way to make caps. You can also sell legendaries to traders for caps if you want too. Use the team bonuses and get Insrpirational for XP & Hard Bargain to 3 ASAP in perks (Obviously you need guns etc too-just when you can).

So you’re telling us to do the main quest at the start and not bother with events or anything, NO!! Take your time with the main quest, do it at your leisure, explore the map, do anything you want, but don’t just focus on the main quest! I’m level 200 just started playing a month ago after giving up when it launched, I have nowhere near completed the main quest, I’m just doing events, doing a quest every now and then and keeping it fresh!!! And from what I’ve heard from other players they have all said don’t rush and explore and adventure first because it gets boring after! So don’t listen to this guy who contradicts himself telling you to do the main quest and nothing else but also says “don’t rush” what exactly should we do then?
You can play however you want at the end of the day. If getting powerful is why you play the game then sure, got do Radiation Rumble on day one. But if you lean towards playing it solo then it's best to avoid spoiling the main quests and getting too over powered, then holding off on those activities is beneficial. Events are end game content. Why be in a rush to get to the end game? For someone who enjoys the single player games for the solo experience they'll miss out on that.
Point 1? I'm recommending that players focus on doing quests before they start doing public events and daily operations. That makes the quests that much more enjoyable.
Pro: very colourful, great for end game players who like gear hunting. Con: you NEED fallout 1st in order to take the game further than just its rather vanilla "story". Pro: plenty of socialising potential with groups and activities. Con: PvP exists, but its totally broken thanks to "legacy players" who have high explosive energy weapons, not available to new players.. unless you want to go online and buy them for the same price as the game when it was new, if not more. Ultimately its worth picking up for free but if you aren't interested in this type of game, avoid it. It becomes an easy money drain.
@@SequentialGamerFallout it opens up a lot of potential, pvp making a comeback would be nice. The current system just has zero structure and that's mostly due to legacy weapons. I really do love the game, plays frequently and complete the scoreboards etc etc. I just know there's still tons of potential for this game.
You don't "need" fallout 1st. It is extremely convenient though. Bethesda games have always been broken. I don't know why people are so insistent on shoehorning PVP into fallout when there are so many dedicated pvp games already out there.
Number one tip: don’t do them solo because half the objectives are mind numbingly boring and take for ever when solo. So sad how awful the expeditions are. I’d much rather just do a daily op. Don’t get me started on the daily “quest” you have to do to charge the batteries. They literally make you cook soup lmfao how incredibly lame.
Well, I'd recommend doing the Pitt expeditions solo or with a like minded team so you can explore and look around. Then in later runs just rush through it. But it's worthy at least a proper look around. I do agree that it was a bad decision making it so similar to daily ops. I would've liked something like a new map that you can move to.
Meat as a whole is a good source of caps, but for brahmin and radstag it might be better to eat them for the +20 carry bonus. I'm guessing you're pretty low level, but giong hunting for mirelurks near to the town where you get the Assaultron body will give you a fair amount of meat and mirelurk meat sells for a fair amount of caps, more than brahmin IIRC.
@@SequentialGamerFallout subscribing good video was looking for starter tips. I got to level 28 before at that big white house building with ghouls in it and driving agency office but I stopped playing for a while and when I went back to the game I felt lost in the quests and couldn't manage my inventory etc as I forgot what I was even doing or what items I had. Do you ever get that with games

@@SequentialGamerFallout can you give me advice on grinding. I find when I grind for caps the enemies around me are leveling too and I end up without the necessary weapons and armour. Like even the low level ghouls level up as you level and it's annoying why did they make it like that
@@Chris-mw1kg Yeah, the game uses damage scaling. It's a good idea to use stealth to your advantage and kill enemies from a distance. Something like a hunting rifle helps, Lever action rifles are also pretty good. Stay under cover and retreat as necessary. Don't buy weapons for caps, you're supposed to get them from dropped enemies. Always scrap any extra weapons to discover mods, then upgrade your weapons. I'm also assuming you're using the weapon buff perks. Also, note that automatic and non-automatic rifles & pistols have their own perk cards. You have to make sure you''re using the right ones .. There's also some damage & VATS improvement perks under Luck, bloody is one I like to use. For shotguns, Enforcer under agility is *really* good. Aim for the legs and you'll be done.
i'm doing the house rules thing right now lol... i'm going to get flamed for this but.. there's a side fandom in the my little pony fandom called fallout equestria. it's exactly what it sounds like.. fallout but candy colored pink ponies.. but leans more tward the adult side.. my house rule is i'm doing a new character that i'm following the progression of the MC of one of these stories. which means for awhile all i can use is a baton, and a revolver. and wear only sunglasses and leather armor with my vaultsuit but eventually i get to use power armor but i can't ever get out of it nor can i let it lose power lol also.. any time i run into whiskey... it gets drunk ruclips.net/video/Bkaac-Vq2ck/видео.html

Heh, I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that legacies are being removed with the upcoming update.
Nice video and great tips for new players.
I would've liked something like a new map that you can move to.
am I the only one who makes brahmin steaks killing the 3 brahmins in the wayward and in the first town for caps just meat and wood
@@Chris-mw1kg Happens all the time LOL, it's just easier to start a new playthrough than try to remember what I did or didn't do in an old save.
And cheers for the sub! Hopefully something in the guide helped you.
Aim for the legs and you'll be done.
i'm doing the house rules thing right now lol... i'm going to get flamed for this but.. there's a side fandom in the my little pony fandom called fallout equestria. it's exactly what it sounds like.. fallout but candy colored pink ponies.. but leans more tward the adult side..
my house rule is i'm doing a new character that i'm following the progression of the MC of one of these stories. which means for awhile all i can use is a baton, and a revolver. and wear only sunglasses and leather armor with my vaultsuit but eventually i get to use power armor but i can't ever get out of it nor can i let it lose power lol also.. any time i run into whiskey... it gets drunk

As long as you're having fun and not harming anyone. Go for it!
