    There is something so pure about this arrangement and performance. I've listened to it hundreds of times this past year and it never fails to bring me joy. Always fresh, always cathartic. Thank you for for sharing💙

    The Forlane arrangement fulfills a vision Sina-Maritza Dinjian had of bells on the high clusters.

    i'm a bit sad that this doesn't include the fugue and toccata from the original piano version, but this is an amazing arrangement anyways!

    • @michael_yeung
      @michael_yeung Год назад +1

      This arrangement by Mathias Reumert does include the fugue and the toccata; the fugue is a bit trickier in terms of instrumental logistics and the toccata is well, a bit challenging to say the least haha!

    • @unnamed_boi
      @unnamed_boi Год назад

      @@michael_yeung haha i see, i do think the order of the movements in the orchestral version work very well, but yeah i just prefer the piano version with the fugue and toccata.

    Beautiful playing! If i can ask, what mallets is the vibraphone player using during Forlane?

    • @michael_yeung
      @michael_yeung 3 месяца назад

      Hello! These are prototype Robert van Sice vibraphone mallets, they have since then been commercially released on Vic Firth. I would have been using the equivalent of a M313 in the bass with the rest being M314s.
