The description says it's from 2019, and nothing about the video tries to claim otherwise. As for the "motivation", the Hong Kong government intensifying efforts to ban the song so it's been part of the news cycle.
@@fedos The video was uploaded before the government tried to ban the songs these few days. So the motivation clearly is a remainder of the riots on the 12th June 2019. Clearly, they chose to upload a peaceful protest rather than the riots, anarchy, arson, beating up of civilians, setting fire and killing of innocent citizens.
@@fedos No, your summary is inaccurate. The video chiron states "After HK's government asked the city's high court to ban the anthem, thousands gathered in New Town Plaza mall." The description also doesn't state that the video is from 2019, it says the song became popular in 2019 during the protests at that time, but still implies this gathering took place after the government-proposed ban (which came about in 2023). Therefore, the video is misleadingly captioned in both the video and description. Again, authorities did not move to ban the song until 2023.
Kudos to the Hongkongers. Hope those being unjustly imprisoned will be released soon. Such a pity HK has lost its vibrancy and freedom of speech in the last few yrs. Hope Taiwan will not go down this road.
*Heres my unpopular opinion as a hong konger* Tbh as a hong konger myself, it doesnt matters to me at all cus i feel like i still have freedom, democracy and i can play video games all day if i want to. I just dont get the point why the other hong kongers on the internet saying that hong kong has lost its freedom and democracy, most of them literally mentioned that they left hong kong and say bad things about hong kong. They literally have the freedom to leave the city and freedom to protest. like seriously tho, they said hong kong police arrested random people but the actual reason why protesters got arrested is because they destroyed a lot of things, police even gave them warning and time to stop before police start to arrest them. Some of u might think “police attacked some random citizens, why do u still support the hong kong police?”. Well its because the police had warned the citizens to not go to protest area but some citizens didnt know which led to misunderstand and the police attacked them. But it didnt happened a lot of times. Protesters also did attacked some citizens who support their country. Hurted the police who were trying to stop the violence of the protesters. Like imagine how many people were hurt physically and mentally by the protester’s violence. The hong kong government did have the choice to implement the national security law or not. So it wasnt the chinese government fault at all and chinese government never forced hong kong to add the national security law.
nice pfp but dude, you can't say there's freedom and democracy when the coward CCP dog government can't take the slightest criticism so they decide to ban a song... that's literally screaming insecurity if anything face it, CCP are ran by idiots who likes to censor rather than be transparent.
We defence our Freedom of speech.
Grammar mistake:defence to defend
Please do not ban (just reject the ban) this song Glory to Hong Kong, because many believe this should be an anthem for the new Hong Kong.
A protest is temporary
A song is forever
Please make it clear in the thumbnail that this is from 2019, thank you.
Yes, lies and deceit do let people and societies down.
Hong Kong, stay strong 🇭🇰💪
Stay strong, best wishes! For your and our freedom!
Thank you for posting. We will not forget.
This video is from 2019, not 2023
So this begs the question as the motivation for posting this clip now

face it, CCP are ran by idiots who likes to censor rather than be transparent.
And what about the guy who maybe faces prison because he replaced the Chinese anthem with the glory to Hon Kong music...?
Hong Kong failed against China 😂😂😂😂 and now flies to somewhere else from Hong Kong city 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brilliant.
God bless our people 🙏
Never give up!
