If u have the 9 gen, upgrading to the 10th gen is not worth it imo cuz even if u get usb c and better display/looks, its still not compatible with apple pencil 2(magnetic charging)and the usb c is still 2.0...performance wise i don't think there's much difference between the 2 unless u do heavy gaming...i would rather suggest getting an ipad air if u want to upgrade
