Faye was born in 1994, in Singapore. In 2014 she was placed into cryogenic sleep after the accident. In 2022 the Gate Incident occurred where the first astral gate exploded, fracturing the moon. Almost 5 billion people died on Earth. Faye slept till 2068 when she was restored and awakened. The show takes place in 2071
Cowboy Bebop is So Special and near to the heart. What starts off as a random run of the mill bounty-hunters, their everyday livelihood's starts to become somewhat reflective of our lives, as we attempt to go with the current of life, doing what we can with what we have or have been given...If not For AoT, this is my number one favorite anime. It's Mature, has real plot when it matters, layered meaning and definitely will have you thinking for days on end when it's finally over. 10/10
I love how, despite all series Spike protesting he can't stand dogs/pets, kids, or women with attitude, and Jet acting so stoic like he doesn't need anyone, when Ed, Ein and Faye are all gone and it's back to just the two of them, they're clearly sad and hurt...and them just silently shoveling eggs in their mouths, taking eggs by the handful off their missing friends' plates is such a beautiful scene of loneliness, heartache and regret. They're both too proud, too stubborn to admit it to each other, but them just aggressively eating their feelings was just wonderfully done.
it's been decades since i saw this on Toonami, back when i was a child and supposed to be sleeping. I can HEAR it, the Sax, the voice, I can hear it as if i was back then. I Think you're gonna love how this ends. I know i did but it's a kind of Painful love, like a besto friendo saying goodbye
I didn't cry at all cuz I'm a big boy. When this ends please consider Samurai Champloo to replace it. Same director. Same amount of episodes. In English the main character has same voice actor as Spike. Similar style of story telling. Samurais + hip hop. If you enjoyed this it's very likely you'll like that as well.
