Great stuff here! This is why I'm really going to miss these when they're gone, especially that engine noise. I really never had noticed how different the fans of the CFM56-5A and the -5B sound until I had experienced both from up there.
Me too just lastnight I flew on C-GKOD (236) with the 5B engines and I realize they sound really different compared to the 5A I flew on the week before (C-FDQQ (201)). I'm gonna miss the A320s.
@EC-LLE they are the original smaller and weaker version of the CFM56 used on the A320. They are shorter in size due to having fewer stages and they have a much louder fan that makes an amazing sound. You’d find these engines on the -211 and -212 version of the A320 and the -113 and -114 version of the A319.
Best narrowbody engine sound on takeoff....CFM56-5A or 5B of the A320 family. Don't @ me haha. I'm gonna miss those birds when they leave Air Canada fleet. Great video too!
@@AlexPraglowskiAviation So if I understood correctly, on Air Canada it is rows 1 - 4, and then 12 onwards right onwards? So 5 -11 does not exist? May I also add how I enjoyed your video. Watched every second. A proper buzzsaw takeoff.
@@richygambs321 Spot on, that's the naming convention on the narrowbody fleet. For all intents and purposes, row 12 is where row 5 would technically be, but I'm not sure why they skip all of those. On the widebodies it's 1-7 for Business Class, 12-14 for Premium Economy, and 18-onwards for Economy.
Love this one. The whine from the engines! Oh, my, I miss that! 😊
Great sound and beautiful views right after the departure. Hope it was a great flight!

Ah, just saw that, seat 12A. When I was an employee that was my seat! I always book it now out of habit! 😁
This airport look familiar :) You can see the spotters at 06:15
Very loud engine buzz! Nice video! Liked!

Pretty sure the 5B is a 737.
@@joezegers no 7B is 737. 5A and 5B are A320.

Seat 12A? Are you sure this is not a mistake? It looks more like seat 5A. Isn't row 12 around mid-wing?
It's an Air Canada thing, the first row of Economy is always row 12, or row 18 on widebodies. Business Class follows the normal 1-4 numbering.

If i was on that flight there would be severe turbulance and screaming kids???. How come that never happens to you?
Just lucky for this video I guess! I've been on a few like that. ruclips.net/video/amwiBPYAX-I/видео.html
