@@briankrol2548 Klopt, fortuna was sfeervol. Maar Hammarby bijv was het echt mat. En aan het einde zelfs toxic maar dat had andere redenen. De sfeer is vaak goed. Maar het kan soms echt tam zijn.

I dislike Vitesse because for years they had a rich owner who filled their financial mismanagement whilst my club fell off😅 But I dont dislike Vitesse fans just the times I went their wasn’t any atmosphere. Im a Heerenveen fan by the way so I recognize when their isn’t a lot of atmosphere. We havent had it for years😂
He was at Vitesse when they had the derby. Obviously thats their biggest game, so he got influenced by that. Go to Vitesse against a random club (sparta,fortuna etc.) and he would rate them way lower.

You should really come to a match between Sc Heerenveen vs Cambuur. because the atmosphere at the Frieze derby is really fantastic. In addition, the reality is very great between these clubs where the supporters do everything they can, such as flags, fireworks, singing and challenging each other. this makes the players work even harder.

You should try to go to PSV-Sparta on the 5th of May, match we will officiallly become champions. Completely soldout tho, but maybe you can try something through media stuff. Atmosphere last few home games has been insane since it's become quite clear we're gonna be champions again after 6 years

You should consider visiting a few more 2nd division teams like: NAC Breda, Willem II, Den Bosch, Cambuur, Groningen, Den Haag, Roda JC oh and don't forget the iconic stadium De Kuil of VVV-Venlo

This isn’t a good comparison. You can’t compare European games from Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV with the atmosphere during their eredivisie matches. So this doesn’t make sense!
So? Support should be solid in every match. Shame on clubs who cant bring it on when they play clubs like excelsior etc..
Yes that’s exactly what I mean. The atmosphere at Ajax in the eredivisie is very bad compared to their European ‘atmosphere’

As a Nijmegenaar, I’ve had some vaccinations at the Goffert. But I’ve also had a COVID test once at the GelreDome.
You should see a game where PSV wins a game or at least with some goals. The atmosphere when "Kernkraft 400" starts palying as the goal tune and everybody is screaming "Eind-ho-ven" is insane. Also the fact that every person in the stadium starts screaming "Boeruh" which comes from "Boeren" and means "Farmers" is actually insane (especially when you realise that probably only 1% of the stadium is actually a farmer)
I'd advise going to Cambuur before the end of the season, they'll play in a new stadium from next season onward, could still tick the old one off

As a Heerenveen fan I think your ranking is fair when compared to the game you went 😅 Over the last decade the atmosphere really improved if i have to be honest. Come to a Derby like you said, preferably against Cambuur. This derby is the derby most fans do care about and Cambuurs support is also very passionate

Great videos mate! Very fun to see an Englishman visiting all the Dutch games. Despite I'm a Feyenoorder I feel bad for Willem II as a Tilburger because you probably won't visit them as they will probably promote to the first tier this year!
You should really give PSV Eindhoven another try. You didn’t really pick the right game, the atmosphere of PSV-Dortmund for example was madness
De sfeer moet bij elke wedstrijd goed zijn niet alleen bij top wedstrijden
Psv - Dortmund was de grootste wedstrijd vab PSV in iets van 5 jaar. Dus dat is ook niet zo'n goed voorbeeld.
Plus vergelijk het met Ajax - Dortmund en het kwam niet eens in de buurt.

Bro psv heeft zelden een goede sfeer, heel af en toe tegen zo'n dortmund maar vergeleken met ajax dortmund stelde dat ook weinig voor

My ranking (only the atmosphere, 2023/2024):
Insane: Fc Twente, Feyenoord
Really good: GAE, NEC, Fc Utrecht, Vitesse
Decent: Sc Heerenveen, PEC, Almere, Fortuna, PSV, Heracles
Meh: AZ, Ajax, Sparta
Poor: RKC, Volendam, Excelsior

Too bad you unfortunately attended the most boring match of SC Heerenveen. The atmosphere normally is good away and at home. At home, the entire stadium is often involved. Come visit us again!
The "Entire" stadium. You mean the almost never fully booked/sold out stadium😂 you need clubs like Groningen and Cambuur visiting to get some atmosphere, otherwise it is less than decent.

Bro volendam zal echt niet opeens een betere sfeer hebben, of almere city. Dat zijn gewoon kleine clubs, gare sfeer, amper fans
Fans of Vitesse are so social to thier club that thier stadium ( GelreDome ) is always half full op fans
Tja dat is de dommigheid van veel mensen die niet snappen dat de capaciteit van het Gelredome gewoon te groot is. Groter stadion dan Utrecht terwijl Utrecht ca 3x groter is. Stad als den Haag ca 4x groter en stadion helft zo groot. Qua aantallen doen we het juist best goed. Gemiddeld 16k vorig seizoen wat boven gemiddeld eredivisie is... tja lege plekken omdat het stadion te groot is.
Counting is difficult? In the eredivisie there were 18000 on average, where you put 21000 in. Thats half full?
Even now that we are stone dead last in the 1st division we still get 15500 people at games. No otter team can say that!

Where would the support still be that great after such a sh*'t time? In Groningen they riotted when they relegated, we just bought more season tickets then the last years to support our team! No matter what, we love Vitesse and still attract 15500 people at games! And at away games you can only hear us singing!
