you forgot to include this so i'll add it in case anyone wants to know:
    - dboorN was the one that essentially leaked the whole throw thing. He told his gf about the match fixing, then dumped her, and then she went ahead and leaked it all. He placed huge bets on the match which raised a red flag with CSGOLounge.
    - cud was just as big a prospect as swag back in the day. The only difference was that he was not as well known at the time. He was also flagged as a unusually high bettor in the iBP NCG game.
    - Casey Foster, the owner of NCG as you mentioned, also told ShaZam that the throw was happening and advised him to bet big on the game (which he did). ShahZam also (for some reason) confirmed to Richard Lewis (who at that point had made an article about it) that in fact it was a throw and not just a bad game by the iBP boys. DaZed said that ShahZam was just making up drama but it was, in fact, the truth. Also DaZed was involved in NCG as far as I remember.

Also Steel has been a pretty consistent analyst at big CS tournaments over the years. Still actively doing it.

swag is coming back to the stage after nearly a decade long ban from valve tournaments. dazed is full on out of the sport. Steel is now a stage analyst (a bad one at that), skadoodle is pretty much retired completely but still is an active gamer (does not stream or anything just plays often with shroud), the last one... idk that dude never made an impact i just assume he is no longer in the sport as well

I don't get how all of these guys were able to play CS events again after they got outed in 2014, you'd think that nobody would want to sign them or let them participate. Some Esports orgs really don't seem to care at all about the kinds of players they pick up, and it's sad that so many people who cheated or rigged matches in CS get to just swap over to Valorant with no penalties.

@@zikkimeister215 Let’s be real, they probably should have had 1 or 2 year bans at max for csgo. Solo had a 1 year ban for the same offence in Dota 2. Beyond that, why shouldn’t they be able to move to a different game? If someone has the dedication and work ethic to succeed in a new game after being banned for half a decade, I think that’s admirable tbh. Look at someone like steel, after he was unbanned by ESL he literally built up 2 separate rosters and made them relevant with his leading and developed quite a few of them into tier 1 players (although most switched to Val as well). Steel has probably done more for the NA scene than almost anyone else. He definitely deserves a second chance. I’ll also bring up the case of swag, who was literally a minor at the time he was banned, and will be 28 by the time his ban is over. He made a decision as a minor that genuinely ruined his career. There is a lot of controversy about the iBP ban, but if you look up the actual situation that they threw in, they weren’t a salaried team at the time, and 99% of their matches were being ddossed by csgolounge bettors, so they made an impulsive decision at the time, and while I think a ban was fair, I don’t think a 10 year ban is at all justified. Especially considering that it’s known that other teams, and players like Shahzam were doing the same at the time and got no punishment. I wrote an essay, but the context is kinda important lol
