It was lovely to see the inside of the castle of my ancestors. My great grandmother was Lady Ethel Lumley, daughter of Lord Lumley. I have photos of her, and my father as a young boy, picnicking in the Yorkshire dales. My father emigrated to Australia in 1955. I have not had the chance to see these places in person.

Thanks for the video. The castle of my ancestors. My 7th great grandfather was born in the Castle before immigrating to Nova Scotia in the 1700s. One of our ancestors is Elizabeth Plantagenet Lumley wife of the Earl of Lumley and daughter of King Edward IV. Another ancestor is Lady Anne Hamilton Lumley: decendant of the Douglas-Hamilton and Stewarts going back to King James IV of Scotland. Its kind of hard to wrap your mind around it.

@Daz-wz9nk yeah it's a funny little place, worth a look.aroubd inside though seeing all the different rooms. Some dark corridors too.
