Things like that are purposeful to appeal to more people so she gains fans that stay around for a long time even through vocal changes. Similar to Taylor Swift
Or since she's older her voice has matured more. Being able to register lower notes and losing access to some of her higher register? The change in the voice happens to females too but it can be more subtle than a guy's dropping voice
tristan should really be making blind reactions to the voice (specially kids one) and see the ones he would turn the chair, why he likes that performance and what his thoughts are, what would he change to make the singers improve and etc
The answer… Yes! Everyone’s voice changes! Also if you can belt at that age it means you’re comfortable in yourself and your voice (like seriously listen to kids, theyre either shy little whisperers, belly belters, or tone deaf af.) Finding my chest voice and a fuller sound took breaking out of my shell, and also WORKING THOSE MUSCLES. If I hadn’t dipped my toe into the terrible sound I was making, it would’ve never developed (IMO)
Her vocal coach (who she had starting at age 5) was the one who suggested acting for her because of how amazing her stage presence was. So in the long run we have to thank her first vocal coach for that or else we wouldn't be watching this video right now haha. It is insane how good Liv has always been.
I am late to the party but finally understood why singers sing their songs in a different way when live. Not because they cannot perform but they want to make sure people know that is not playback. More than once I thought her performance live was taped and probably it wasn't. She's just this good ❤️
She’s so talented and you can see her passion for singing ❤️ . Should check out her song --> All I Want and The Rose Song 🌹, also Just for a Moment with Joshua❤️
Y'know how they always say there's always some 10 year old Asian kid better than you? I think we should slide the Filipino Asians into singing for this stereotype.
I have a question, so if someone naturally has a very quiet delicate voice such as, say, dodie, could this style also have the potential to develop into a ‘louder’ and ‘stronger’ style? I remember when I was made to sing louder and my throat was hurting and my voice was slowly going, and from then I assumed it’s not possible to go further than where I’m at?
i would not say dodie has a naturally quiet delicate voice, she chose to start singing that way. In her old videos she sang very strong in her chest, but decided that style was not what she loved for her music
Children develop a more adult sound because they’re comfy in their voice and therefore practice more (they can practice in front of everyone). Guarantee she was singing since she could speak. PRACTICE DEVELOPS YOUR VOICE! It’s like a savings account, if you deposit once a month it’ll grow slower than depositing multiple times a day. The more you practice (I could see her actively pursuing her voice from a young age) the more it develops!
