It's so vital to do the small and simple things daily that can keep us very close to God, so that we don't even entertain the thought of abandoning him. If we do daily scripture study prayerfully, as well as, other prayers through the day, we will stay closer to Jesus Christ. We of course should after baptism, prepare to partake of the sacrament, go to the temple to perform ordinances, tithing, fasting, and trying to help to gather Israel, which can help us to have eternal life with God and loved ones forever!

Such words of wisdom AND truth!! And I add my personal witness that that as we do this and utilize all the tools the gospel is given, we can overcome generational curses. I know it's true because of the fruit of the spirit. Love, peace, joy, and comfort, to a degree but I've seen in so few others! Sadly, simply, because so few do this!

Personal periods of ignorance and those of society did necessitate reconciliation, but it didn't mean any age or place ever was without ability to be upon religious truth.
