The colors certainly POP with this deck. I just ordered mine based on the info you gave in this video...I love the distinguishing colors for the different suits--stunning, bright and a nice remake of this artwork.
I really like the Weiser Tarot and I think my favourite card is The Devil 😍 thank you for showing all of these and comparing them Simon, it will have to go on my wish list for now but I will get it at some point 😍❤️

I have tried to cut way back on buying a lot of decks but i couldn't help ordering the Roses and Lilies,Pam A and D and will get B and C when i can afford them so i will have the collection. I had already bought the CS Tarot and the Pam's Old deck. Really love Conrad's work. I think it's so much fun waking up and deciding which one i want to work with that day. Had lots of technical issues in the live, so watching it back now. I apologize if I accidentally posted any incomplete comments. I'm technologically challenged as it is. Lol! This is my first RWS deck in the original imagery. I have never really cared for the original coloring of the traditional RWS, but I absolutely love the color scheme in this one. It reads really well for me so far, and it might become my personal "Go to" deck. I'm just going to overlook those few cards where the people are completely lacking any color or tend to blend with the background color of the card. The two of pentacles appears very green...nobody should ever be green. Lol!
So much that is lovely about this deck but white and yellow faces an issue and no real rainbow in 10 Cups...I am slowly working my way through all your videos, which is wonderful, The Dirty Pam I think is my favourite but I am so confused about what is available. I wonder if you could do a video just about Dirty Pam versions...or let me know if you have done one. I think the version you used here for comparison (Lo Scarabeo?) in another video you said something had changed recently but that video could have been one you did 3 years ago...XXXX

I have another diverse RWS Hand drawn with veg ink dyes, by Martha E Miller which is a beautiful little round deck. I think I'd fill a need for this by just buying a deck like the melsnated tarot, one thing I enjoy and think is more authentic is when artists draw faces drawn from people they know or see in real life. Faces are unique even within a bio family, so attempting to draw a generic diverse face seems fraught with problems, imo.
I got mine today. I've been all around the houses buying indie decks and arty type ones; only now to come back to the RWS and TDM . I can't use anything else now. After a while, it seems people go back to traditional. ❤️
When I began purchasing decks, I swore I wouldn't use RWS. I still don't have US Games plaid but I have 5 or 6 alternatives I use a lot. As well as Conrad's R&L and Pam A. Weiser is on the way!
Gosh that 1909 of yours just blows yet another RWS out of the water, imo. I know you've done videos on the 1909 Roses before but how does the print quality compare under a jeweller's loupe? My only concern with it is the fidelity of that print on demand service.
I like about half the cards in this Weiser deck, but the rest are excessively blurry and dark, so the details get lost. The colors are great, but too messily applied for my taste. I'll stick with the versions I've already got. Oh well...
Sorry to have missed this live. I had previously seen a walkthrough of this deck and found it wasn't for me. I don't begrudge anyone who feels the need for an inclusive version, but I feel the closest connection to Pixie through the original version. Sometimes experimentally adventurous recoloring can breathe new life into the deck, but this one felt too much like a coloring book version to me, which I could do myself with crayons or cheap watercolors using the Theresa Reed Tarot Coloring Book if I wanted to and still may yet.

All I can go on is what Saskia Jensen said about it, which is that it is the closest she has seen to her original copy of the 1909.
