$100k Nike SB Paris Dunks Restoration

- Today Vick is working on one of the most expensive shoes ever, the Nike SB Paris Dunk. In brand new condition, the Paris Dunk sells for around 100k, but the pair Vick got his hands on is pretty beat.
To restore the Paris Dunks we’re going to use the Essential Kit, Dry Suede Kit, Sneaker Wipes, Mink Oil, & our Sneaker Deodorizer. You can find all of these products at reshoevn8r.com.
Back to the Dunks! Vick used the Essential Kit and Solution to clean up the uppers, then used some Sneaker Wipes to scrub the midsole. The Dry Suede Kit came in clutch for the dingy, dirty suede on the toe box and mid foot area.
After the full deep clean both inside and out, Vick put the Paris Dunks in the Vick 2000 UV setup to brighten the midsoles. Then, he reset the nap with the Medium Brush and applied Mink Oil to keep the suede lush.
The last step of this restoration was a puff of our Sneaker Deodorizer, because your shoes should smell as fresh and they look!
Off they go to the original owner! This was a fairly easy restoration but it was still satisfying nonetheless. It’s not everyday that you get to work on a pair of shoes worth 100k.

As a Dunk Collector, these are one of the only rare joints that i never got my hands on, i just refuse to pay the current market price, just refuse to.

If you hit the suede with a dry magic eraser after you clean it, it removes deeper down dirt and also resets the suede at the same time. Does a decent job on it's own if you don't want to get them wet, but if you combine it with a dry kit and a cleaning, it's probably the best deep clean you can do on suede without damaging it. 👌

@@BroyaNB I've restored for years, it does a better job on deep down dirt in delicate suede than an eraser usually does. You only use it dry on suede, never wet.

@@crocus9905 Yeah no duh, but it doesn't do anything to non slick surfaces. Sandpaper is used all the time on things like suede to remove staining and reset nap, this is like a 5000 grit sandpaper. If you actually restored sneakers for a living you'd understand.

You could still use Sole Revive and a UV light or even just a UV light might help
I used to collect Dunks in High School back in the mid 2000s. I bought the first pair of SBs before they had the SB logo. When everyone started wearing them I got into Huaraches and sold my 10 pairs of dunks. With that being said, I can't imagine paying more than $80 for shoes, y'all are getting played in the shoe game. I used to work at Nike and see people blow their checks on clothes and shoes. wake up

It won't damage if applied properly. It soaks into the materials
Soon as the guy got these back the soles were yellowish again. That UV will ice 11s n foams! Icing white soles is good only for days then u need another 12 hr session

depending on your insurer and policy, you actually can get it done for market value not retail just costs more to do so
It’s not absurd as these pairs sell brand new upwards of 85k brand new and I personally know a few people that have had brand new pairs of these, in which they sold for 90 plus

The Essential Cleaning Kit would work the best for that. The shoe just has to be cleaned evenly and allowed to dry

What are some of your products, you would recommend to clean the grey suede in the front of the shoe.
A Dry Suede Kit is what we would recommend if they are not overly dirty. Or an Essential cleaning Kit

Yes the suede just needs to be reset which can be done with the brush that comes in the dry Suede Kit

how do you get the deep dark stains out of the suede toe boxes? same thing is on my purple pigeons and i couldnt get them out. tried the eraser, sandpaper method and brass brush....no luck. HELP!

We recommend using a Shoe tree or stuffing the toe box to push the crease out, but there isn't really a way to fully get rid of it
