It is so good to see you again. I really do hope to get back to learning to spin, but the knitting, weaving, and sewing are taking all the time I have. Hopefully I’ll get the baby blankets all off the loom soon and fit spinning in. So glad your class is always available for me when I can get to it. Happy making!
Hi Kim, great podcast. Was working a wool festival last weekend with a friend. She has shetland sheep and wanted to sell her washed fleeces. I was spinning with my Hansen electric spinner and we had so much fun. Very tired after that! We learned a lot being rookies. See you next time
Happy Memorial Day weekend, Kim! Congrats on really finishing that shawl =). That Targhee fiber felt like a cloud - hope all the spinners are loving it. Great parting shot, too - the sheep and the roses!
Love the shawl!❤ Totally understand the slowing down efforts! Life is hectic enough before even considering social media 😅 I actually found a used wheel to start my spinning wheel journey (no idea of maker, sadly, so will be difficult to get more bobbins 😝) it had been stored away for ages, possibly never actually used, (I’m guessing it’s from ca 1980 but that’s total guesswork since owner had no idea either) so metal parts needed some TLC to get the uptake to be smooth(er) but I have learnt and understood SO much in just the 5 days I’ve had it!❤ Decided that I will def need another newer wheel too 😬😬😬 😂 Looking forward to your next vlog!❤ Anita
Your efforts with the Targhee were well worth it! It spins up really beautifully! 🎉
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it. I really love it too. Phew! Also love that I'm done with it!
Your dive into spindle spinning inspired me to break out of my usual wheel spin! Thanks 😊
Oh wonderful!!! What are you spinning on?
Thanks for the work on the targhee. As a targhee producer and a beginner spinner it was a great help
Welcome to spinning!!!
Thank you for coming back for a visit. I appreciate the mill videos. The Target looks so lovely.
Absolutely! Thank you for watching!
I've missed you, Kim! But wow, I'm so glad you finished the wrap! It is GORGEOUS. And now it's finished ✅️ I can stop asking about it 😂
Lolol. You were obviously on my mind while I was gone! It is lovely, thank you! Onward to next project you can help me keep tabs on. 😉
I love how targhee light targhee is, how it takes dye, and the bounce. It's so fun!
It is such a lovely wool. I can be a little scrooge about fine wools at times but it is such a lovely spin and finished yarn!

Linda! You'll get to your wheel when the time is right!

Thanks Pat! Sounds like you had a great time. Nice friend you are to help out, working festivals is exhausting!
