I'm not aloud to play drums or learn bc it's to load but I know how to get beats and play them I just need ten minutes to learn a beat and I can play it because I loved taking little coffee buckets when they were empty and play music on them with sticks from outside so I know how to memorize beats and play them from my childhood of playing on those coffee buckets lol
It isn’t that simple u can’t just learn in ten minutes, u have to practice. I suggest a cheap electric kit, they are great and quiet, also get a drum teacher
SAME - It is sooooo frustrating - the windmill trick is especially impossible for me (the one where it looks like you are twirling the stick between your fingers) the best I can do is making it go from side to side before dropping it. LOL
I’ve been playing drums for close to 25 years and I can’t do those tricks. They say practice makes perfect but I disagree. The more u practice the more pissed u get and the shittier your drums sound. Take a couple weeks off and your drums sound great and u regain confidence. No matter how much u practice someone will be better than u. Playing in a band is the most judgmental, shit talking, bullshit haters within it own genre. It drained all the fun out of it. I wish I had the brain to never compare
For some reason, the windmill trick seems to be absolutely impossible. (The one where it looks like you are twirling the stick between your fingers.) The best I can do is making it go from side to side before dropping it. LOL. I'll keep at it tho. :)
Nice, now I just need to learn how to play the drums.
