The reason why the Empire never came back to Lothal is for two reasons. 1. After the destruction of the fuel depot and Thrawn's defeat/disappearance the funding for his TIE Defender was stopped and moved to Project Stardust. 2. The Jedi Temple on Lothal was gone and thus the gateway into the World between Worlds was lost. So there would have been no logical reason for Palpatine and the empire to go back.
Well, score one for the Bendu who called it back at the very end of Season Three when he said to Thrawn, "I see your defeat, like many arms surrounding you in a cold embrace." And the Bendu's booming laughter when Thrawn tried to destroy something far beyond his understanding... *chef's kiss* I'm so glad you loved Rebels, and I hope you love Ahsoka just as much! May the Force be with you, always~! ^_^
That character was Nik Sant. Now he's been fan retconned into Rex and also Dave Filoni to an extent. He simply said, "If you think that's Rex so be it. No official retcon.
Thank you for your reactions to this. We love Rebels, and we love seeing you react to it. Your love for these stories and characters is why we love you
Yes in the books there is a Jacen , he is one of Han & Leis kids. Jacen , Jaina (twins) & Anakin. I loved this show, it was far deeper than a "kids" show, cried my eyes out more than once. It is old school SW story telling given to us in animation with the same emotion as the big screen story.
While the final episode has calls back to a number of key moments, the one I think tends to be overlooked is Ezra's fulfillment of Kanan's "one last lesson" from the World Between Worlds. I believe the lesson is letting go of the past and the fear of that loss. Ezra being forced to again watch Kanan die and realizing the consequences of saving him out of selfish desire, prepares him for the moment when he is faced with the temptation to reunite with his parents in a reality where they didn't die. What I really appreciate is the irony of the Emperor attempting to seduce Ezra's with a chance to be with his parents again, and Ezra using it as an opportunity to finally say goodbye to them in the meaningful way he's arguably been seeking since we first meet him in season one.
Thanks for the shout out!!! ❤❤❤ We now know why kanan wasn't in his room in Twin Suns. Hera wasn't lamenting telling kanan that she loves him, but that she was pregnant. If you rewatch that scene with her and chopper she is holding her stomach. I caught it on a rewatch.
Thank you for your awesome reactions! Rebels is my most re-watched sho; the characters are amazing! The murderous look in your face when the Emperor's hologram first appeared, lol. The ending is perfect. From episode 10 through the end, it's all perfection, with 13 still being my favorite, just for the scope of it. Dave Filoni is a genius and cleverly add random ingredients and deliver a most perfect cake, lol
krissy, now you can watch the live action tv show, Ahsoka, make sure you watch the end credits, i like the music and animation you see in the end credits
Take some time to revel in the story of rebels and its finale now, its one of my favorite shows ever and the ghost crew are very near and dear to my heart. However the Ahsoka show will be mostly focused on Ahsoka herself, so other stories may be a bit more sidelined or told less, so be ready for that.
Yup she was pregnant ,why didn't I just tell him sooner . I Thought there would be more time.. She didn't really have to tell him she loved him.. They already did the nasty. Lol. They already knew they loved each other .. But yeah The show in the beginning you were like. I don't like certain characters that much. But I'll give it a chance and it definitely paid off.. They all feel like family members. That's why I love the series. Outstanding show

Rex's outfit has been changed to look like one of the background rebels in ROTJ so you can see "Rex" in the battle of endor now

This edit shows the circular motion of the story, of how it begins and how it ends
