Wow, quite impressive having the ability to quickly summarize and share documents in a more visual format. I could see presenting a PPTX during a team meeting to bring a team up to speed on a document. Would be interesting to see what happens to a customer RFP or a SOW from a vendor…

The option to create a presentation from a file is not shown, only two options are available, to create a presentation about a slide although I have already saved my Word file on my OneDrive! it only requires me to work with the share point which I am not using!

I've figured out how to transfer the file by creating a shareable link. I simply went to the "Share" tab, copied the link, and it's ready to use.

Hey, Chris, thanks for the video. When I try to create a PP presentation from file, it only takes a few bullet headings from my Word document and fills in the rest with generic information, leaving out the rest of my document. Any thoughts?

Is possible to create the slides you showed in your demo, and at the same time upload the entire body text as notes underneath each of the relevant slides, then it is much easier and faster to make the manual over ride of the slides as well as using the notes for remembering all key messages in the original document if some of the bullets are not self-explanatory enough especially at a later stage - and how should I do it?

It definitely should be. That Copilot feature has been out for awhile. The Word doc needs to be saved in OneDrive btw.

      @@ChrisMenardTrainingThanks for your response!
I hope it is, but I cannot see any “attach to file” options in Word PowerPoint, and I'm a Pro user.
And you said it's been out for a while. You cant see it, too? Do you have any idea when that feature is going to get reinstated? Yes, in one drive.
P.S. I saw an attached file clip on the Copilot Pro app for a minute, but it disappeared after a few minutes! I'm cross.

"Currently we support document transformation only for files on your organization’s SharePoint. Please upload the content to a file on SharePoint and try again with the link to the uploaded file." That is what I got when trying to use the option to use a file from Word to create a Presentation. Also, I could not find a way to divert it to read the file from my drive or even My SharePoint using a link to the file!!!!

    How about data security?
I'm dealing with sensitive info and don't want to train copilot on my data. How do you deal with that?

That's the price you pay for the service.

2 things: microsoft 365 personal WILL NOT allow you to do this, ONLY business will. Also, it should NOT take you halfway into a video to start showing us what we came here for.
