- In this video, I demonstrate how to use Microsoft Copilot in my M365 account to transform a Word document into a PowerPoint presentation. I walk through various features of the new Copilot from Microsoft (paid version). It's great value but it does require an annual commitment.
I show you how easy it is to take a Word document with text and images and seamlessly transform it into a PowerPoint presentation using Copilot. You even have flexible options for layouts if you're not happy with the initial ones provided.
Subscribe to my channel, I'll be making many more videos on Microsoft Copilot in the coming weeks.

The option to create a presentation from a file is not shown, only two options are available, to create a presentation about a slide although I have already saved my Word file on my OneDrive! it only requires me to work with the share point which I am not using!
Wow, quite impressive having the ability to quickly summarize and share documents in a more visual format. I could see presenting a PPTX during a team meeting to bring a team up to speed on a document. Would be interesting to see what happens to a customer RFP or a SOW from a vendor…
There is problem which my copilot powerpoint file from mode has gone. May i know how does it revert back? Before that it still having and appearing.
the Create from file option is missing from my copilot.....anyone know how to solve this?
You need to be in windows 11
I just brought a new PC and MS365 came with it…. Along with Co-pilot that i guess is version for Ms products. My question: can i do a power point like you just did with the version of co-pilot i have with my PC…. And on my ipad??????????
How about data security?
I'm dealing with sensitive info and don't want to train copilot on my data. How do you deal with that?
That's the price you pay for the service.
"Currently we support document transformation only for files on your organization’s SharePoint. Please upload the content to a file on SharePoint and try again with the link to the uploaded file." That is what I got when trying to use the option to use a file from Word to create a Presentation. Also, I could not find a way to divert it to read the file from my drive or even My SharePoint using a link to the file!!!!
Hi, when I try to call a word document in powerpoint nothing appears. I mean, when I do : "Create a presentation of /......." Nothing is found. How could I do ?
Grab the share link from the document and paste it.
The create presentation from file option isn't available on my copilot PowerPoint! Why? Help.
It definitely should be. That Copilot feature has been out for awhile. The Word doc needs to be saved in OneDrive btw.
@@ChrisMenardTrainingThanks for your response!
I hope it is, but I cannot see any “attach to file” options in Word PowerPoint, and I'm a Pro user.
And you said it's been out for a while. You cant see it, too? Do you have any idea when that feature is going to get reinstated? Yes, in one drive.
P.S. I saw an attached file clip on the Copilot Pro app for a minute, but it disappeared after a few minutes! I'm cross.
It does not work with copilot pro 😞
