mine is a 1990 model with stock rims and tires. when it was basically stock with just drivetrain work, intake and exhaust, I was racing a modded srt-4 on the way back from the track and I had it up to 155. I had to back out of it cuz we were running out of road. Oh and by drivetrain work I mean clutch, flywheel, and a 1 piece driveshaft.
wrong I have personally had my car at 165 and it was still pulling. granted it was pulling really slow but still going. With the mods I have done to my Z now i PROMISE you it will go well over 160, prolly closer to 180. and yes I have really big brakes, 13" up front and 12" in back.
unless you are talking about actual gps speed (in which I have no idea what the car's actual speed would be), that statement is false. I haven't changed my gearing up in my car at all. It still has the stock 3.69's that it came with from the factory and WILL go over 160 mph.

Not with our transmissions. We're gear limited to around 160 MPH.
