In '79 when I was kid riding subway (then was called IRT,BMT) and doors would open and 2 guardian angels would enter on either side of train car and stand by door with their arms crossed then ride train for few stops and get out. You'd never see a cop buy you'd see guardian angels seemed like everywhere at the time.
