Out of context is can appear that he is just chewing on the dude excessively, but that is obviously not the case, especially if he felt threatened himself. Keep up the good work. This video needs to be shown to all the people complaining that shep wasn’t well trained because he “wasn’t listening” to your initial commands to get off the guy and the people saying that he should’ve been released as soon as the guy was on the ground. Amazing work by this team yet again
I've read the day the footage came out a lot of comments from the internet "experts" saying what the Deputy did wrong, what he should have done and so on, like the know better (although most of the comments were positive). This was a great way for us who don't know a thing about procedures or how to handle a K9 to understand a bit more what happened, not that any of us need explanations of any kind. Personally I find all the things you people do very interesting. So thanks again Benecia! I'm really enjoying these videos!

Enjoying your videos Benecia. Interesting to hear Dep. Carmack's review. Someone commented that this was too much and the dog was allowed to bite for too long. We never know the whole situation so he explained it perfectly. At some point could you do a video on how the dogs are contained in the cruiser and how they stay cool?
Shep and Carmack are one of my favorite teams and I could watch them all day long. I love how Deputy Carmack praises Shep after he finds a suspect and how excited Shep is when Carmack is happy with him. The best part of the video that Benicia and Carmack were watching, is when Shep was growling as he was latched onto the suspect :) I watched that video over and over cause it was hilarious when the suspect was screaming. Shep and Carmack are both so handsome and fun to watch!!!
