I was concerned he might have broken it, but need not have worried as it was true to form and he pulled out some amazing fish from the Angel of the North lakes in Gateshead. Great comparison video, ty. I tried buying the Margin in Summer 2019. But was let down 3 times. So opted for the Response after a bit more saving. Glad I did. Fished with it most of last Summer and couldn't fault it one bit. Think I made the right decision.

I think the response top kits are 2.4 m in length , and are interchangeable with the other poles in the response range , I know they fit my 16 m XS response Carp pole matey
Hi Ben, nice video pal, may be worth mentioning on the on the bank test that anybody who has a Preston Response XS 50,70,90 Poles and the old M Series the top kits interchange with the Response Margin and as with the Edge Monster anybody who has the Preston Pro Series of pole the top kits interchange with the edge monster. I have the edge monster and my fishing buddy has the response margin and we match fish all the time on commercials and believe me they are both very, very strong, I have fished the edge monster with 17h just in the top section of the power kit to pull carp/barbel out from underneath platforms with no problem. My mate has also used extremely tighten up red hydro through the top kit on the response margin and landed carp to 15lb with no problems so as i have said these pole are very strong mate. Looking forward to see the on the bank test Ben, take no prisoners.

Not long found your channel after a massive 5 year break from fishing. Really well done, and straightforward! Im going to go for the response I think - Still using a 13m 20 year old browning pole! Think its seen its day, and the carp are wrecking me! Can you get a "match" kit for the Response? Something I can put a lighter elastic in?
Ben. As you're independent I tend to trust you. What margin pole would you suggest for £300, I fish a place with a lot of very big fish, many doubles. Thanks any help grateful, the Drennan Acolyte margin 9.5 looks nice and thoughts Ben on that one please? Richard.
Great video, I'd also consider what main pole your using as the edge monster fits all the protype x range and the response fits the response range. Just means to kits number three and four sections etc are all interchangeable between edge and protype and response to response.
xs 70 soon I think I only have the response now which interchanges. I only bought the monster to review for people my friend bought it off me good pole for the money.
Are map tks topkits decent topkits Ben? Iv ended up with a 8.5m map tks power margin pole and the pole itself seems really nice, I'm just wondering if the tks topkits are decent topkits in general.. as I can use any.. not sure if some are better than others. Thanks for all your reviews btw 👌👍

that's great stuff there fab poles. Yes it interchanges with the whole response range so they do response match kits.

response 8.5m but if you want extra length Drennan don't discount the beast master though a weapon for £145 cheap second hand prices on them as well
