In 2003, Till made an appearance as a villain, in a made for television movie for children titled Amundsen, der Pinguin. His character tries to steal a penguin who knows the location of treasure.
Till plays an animal rights activist in a movie called Vinzent.
Till made brief appearances in the movies xXx (2002) as himself along with the rest of Rammstein, and Pola X (1999).

Background and composition
The song is inspired by the case of Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes. In March 2001, in Rotenburg an der Fulda, the two men aged in their 40s met each other, cut off and cooked Brandes' penis and consumed it together. Afterwards, Meiwes killed Brandes - with Brandes' permission - and ate his remains. As a result, Meiwes was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail for manslaughter, but was later charged with murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. According to bassist Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, the song came about after "one of our members brought a newspaper to rehearsal and it had a story about the cannibal guy in it. We were fascinated, shocked and amused at the same time". Vocalist Till Lindemann stated, "It is so sick that it becomes fascinating and there just has to be a song about it".[2] A prominent phrase in the song is "... denn du bist, was du isst, und ihr wisst, was es ist" ("Because you are what you eat, and you (pl.) know what it is").

This band is all about to shock you in every way. They wrote songs that consist of the most terrible horrors that mankind can imagine. So don't be surprised to be shocked. Every single fracture of pain that a human could imagine is descriped in all of their songs. In every way and any possible constellation. Heard of the song "Mein Herz brennt!" ? That is the ultimate song about a nightmare that could even top the song of Slayer "Dead skin mask". It also is about nightmares from children. But much worse. Believe me... Listen to both songs and then rate them. "Dead skin mask" from Slayer or "Mein Herz brennt" from Rammstein. What would you prefer.
