    Could you please share with us your grid or D.U. input, is it L & N or L1 & L2?i mean is it LINE TO LINE or LINE TO NUETRAL?

    First few things to do:
    - Remove any RCD on input if any
    - joint null and ground of input and output too.
    - Do not connect any photovoltaic pannels with possible leaking currents
    - Disconnect monitoring
    - Ensure that battery management is not powered from battery nor via switched power supply, ensure galvanic insulation.
    - Disconnect whole house appliances
    - Connect just something with galvanic insulation (transformer)
    - Try it

      Hi! Tnx for the reply, but all those have already been tried and none works. I have spent hours on troubleshooting the thing. What is more important - I believed that only my unit has this issue, so I foolishly went on and purchased couple more units for my clients and guess what - all of them had the same or similar issues. So, my advice - stay away from this inverter. 5.5kw versions had none of those issues and work perfectly fine. If I simply drop in a 5.5kW inverter on the place of this one - it works without a blink.

      @@IgyBoyCRO I have two units, friend of mine too and there are no troubles like you described.

    Hi, is this fixed, firmware?

    Hello ! Like you, I have such an inverter. I have a request to you to check if it is the same with you. When I measure with a multimeter between the plus or minus cable that comes from the panels and ground, I have a voltage of 220V. I checked with a test lamp (ice) and it lights up. It looks abnormal to me. I dare not hang on a large load so as not to damage the inverter.Thanks in advance!

      Hi, the voltage of the panels is not related to the ground, so it "floats" in relation to the ground and is not a problem. You can safely go and use it like that.

      I think this is some kind of leak from the inverter itself. It is not normal for cables with DC to have and AC power. Therefore, if you have the opportunity, please check if it is the same with you.

    Hello, did you find out why you have all these issues with this inverter?

    • @IgyBoyCRO
      @IgyBoyCRO  3 года назад

      Unfortunately, no. EAsun has not been able to resolve the issue, and they are now not responding for more than a month. They asked for all sorts of videos and data, but none helped. I guess the board is faulty, or the firmware is doing something wrong. Anyhow, I am managing to use it to power the house - without grid connection(the other inverter I showed is doing the battery charging from grid). MPP tracking sucks, as the algorithm is badly implemented, and needs an firmware update, but I am not sure if I will get it from EAsun. The power off and power on is not bothering me at this point, but is just adding to frustrations over the inverter.
      Best part is: I have sold dozens of EAsun inverters(5.5kW versions) and their customer still ignores me. Now imagine if you only buy one single inverter. Getting the help from them in that case is close to impossible, as they will simply ignore you.

      @@IgyBoyCRO thank you for your kind reply. So, you think you've got a faulty device?

    • @IgyBoyCRO
      @IgyBoyCRO  3 года назад

      @@kostaskostopoulos2913 I do not know. It could be a design flaw, or firmware error. Part of the issues are definitely due to the firmware bug(MPP tracking issue), other part of the issues could be both: faulty board or bad firmware. Unfortunately, I do not have high hopes that EASun is competent in resolving the issue, so I will probably need to disassemble it myself and check the board and possibly do reverse engineering of firmware to find the solution. But this is not ideal, and will cost a lot of time to do.

      @@kostaskostopoulos2913 thank you for the offer. I hope yours works properly. I will be dealing with mine probably in a month, as I am busy with other stuff at the moment, and I still hope Easun will reply(naive, I know). :)
      Good luck!
